10/14/00 is the most recent remembered. But I recall a couple of other Saturdays last summer just as bad. Another day I easily remember is the 2nd Sunday of the '99 season. Some of you might remember the companies that were there along with the GP!
I was running around with Scott. We both left early due to the crowd.
Going back further,I remember '89 with Magnum opening. Saturdays that summer were nuts! Even after they added those queues behind the restrooms, the line strecthed past Corkscrew!

If I cant ride it, rope it, pull a trailer behind it-then I dont want it!! Cowgirl up!!
It's great to back among the living! LOL! I've been hibernating! I came out once in January to go to Knott's for the Winter Coaster Solace. Then crawled back into the cave waiting for CP to open! Looking forward to seeing everyone again! :)
I will have to echo the 10/14/00 sentiment. I don't think that my family had any idea that Camper Village would be completely booked up that evening or that the crowds would be so huge in the park. It was our first time coming in October.
Despite the crowds, we all enjoyed our day, and plan to make a trip in October again this year.

...and enjoy the rest of your day at Cedar Point, The Am-aaaa-zement park!
Woman at the toll booth said Oct. 14 of last year had second largest crowd with well over 40,000 guests. Luckily, I was there on the 15th.
I guess then that I shouldn't be suprised that all of you all were there that day too. October 14, 2001 was the first time that I went to CP on a Saturday. It was not a pleasurable all-around experience; especially the hour 10 min wait for some trite chicken strips. I dont mind waiting 3 hours for Millie, but CHICKEN STRIPS?!?!? If GregLeg1 hadnt been with me, I might have gone RCT and vandalized something (joke)
