The Millennium Force Logo

Dose anyone know where I can find and print the 'M' for Millennium Force's Logo? Second, where can I make my own logo's for coasters? Third, what is the deal with Gemini's station? Is it confermed or what?

What is the latest update on Gemini's station?

Thanks.

Latest update on Gemini's station was that they added uprights to make the uptrack stairway railing ASTM compliant, and they painted it in hideous pastel colors.

It is reasonable to assume that for 2004, all of Cedar Point's coasters will have ASTM-compliant fencing.

Apart from that, I don't think anybody knows anything for certain...

Well it is most likely guarenteed that all of Cedar Point's coasters will have at least 1 station each for next season. (I mean, that's how it works in RCT, right?)

Excuse the ignorance, but what does ASTM stand for?

Well, If the rumors are true, what I've heard, They took off 2 trains so there would be room for an unload station.... But, you know how believeable those rumors are.. I'm very upset about the hidious(sp?) paint color on the station, good way to use up that Talon paint Cedar Fair! Wait... no not really, should of used it on a more worthy ride, like DT that paint could glow.. or not.. But back on topic.. If anyone has the ride logo, I would like it for a stained-glass layout.. Thanks.

There is not going to be an unload station. They take off 2 trains around bonus weekends every year because they are not needed.

Does anyone have any pictures of Gemini's new station?
So is there going to be the full 6 train operation, or are they leaving 2 off: for regular season????

"Welcome back Gemini riders, how was that ride!?!?!" 25 years of excellence!

I believe Gemini is getting air gates this year. So it'll be only 4 train operation and less.

Thats why they were getting rid of the 2 extra trains for the whole season, damn airgates. In all my visits to CP never once has someone fallen in those grates or been hit by a train.

It's all just a precaution. Hopefully it doesn't get too out of hand.

You know what? I actually like those gates... It keeps the spieler from having to say "Look down at your feet... If you are standing on the yellow line, step back. The Yellow line is my friend. Please don't stand on my friend"

I think they are an advantage too, because if you need to check over the train, it keeps people from loading the train before you finish checking it over.

Rides like Wicked Twister is really where they needed the air gates, because of the train going through the station 4 times during the course of the ride.

Seeing them on Raptor was a shock to me... It also shortened the front-row queue rails in the station... so 3 trains full can only fit in there... pissed me right off.

Back to the topic on hand... They're called idiot gates. They are there to keep idiots from darting in front of the train as it's pulling in. and the way society is going, we're getting dumber and dumber as we go along. I wouldn't be suprised if they gave us all an escort through the park, teaching us how to use the ride properly.

In all honesty, it's not for us coaster buffs, it's for the stupid guests of tomorrow.

I agree with the flamin colors on Gemini... looks like Gemini went gay (no offense to the gay population out there) I liked it better with the crappy brown than the bright purple, or pink...

Hopefully, they do an overhaul on Magnum over the winter... smooth out the track a little and hopefully they turn off the trim brake before the pretzel...

Why would they overhaul Magnum? The track is fine, and the ride is fine, leave it how it is, great.

Trimless rides on Magnum can be brutal to the thighs. However, it doesn't really matter because you'll just get beat up on the bunny hops anyway. Personally, that's why I like Magnum. It throws you around and lets you know that it is the boss, unlike smoother coasters.

Bumping this topic up ;)

Anybody got Any mroe info on Geminis station or how it will be running this year?

Nah, air gates dont stop that. I remember ride ops telling people to stand behind the yellow line on a few coasters that had air gates.

So does this mean with the air gates they'll let a certain amount of people to go to the train at a time like they do for Millennium Force? If that's the case it will be less crowded just trying to wait for your seat.
