The Maverick

I recall vibration in a back car, in at least one of the trains, from early last season - late May or early June.

In 8 trips to CP this year I saw Maverick down only one time.

Vibration can vary based on the train and condition of the wheels. It's not an overall indicator of the state of the ride.

The funny thing is...I didn't even think about it until I saw the posts, but now that I do think about it, I haven't noticed any vibrations at all this year!! (and I pretty much strictly ride the last row) Yay Mr. Jasper!! :)

Opening week I attempted to get Maverick for early ride time and it was down, I think on Monday, maybe. Then on Wed I tried again and I rode but then sat on the last brake, two trains back, for probably 30 minutes. When the mechanics arrived, promptly, they were all around the train I was on - i think there was a problem with the brake.

I've heard more rattling on at least some of the trains than in previous years. Not what can be heard while on the ride itself, but listening to it passing.
