The Lighting on the tower

where on the tower are thewe lights, i dont see them.

For someone whose day was not going too well, getting the official press kit for TTD was a great uplifter, I like the idea of including the cd, complete with interviews, construction b-roll, and photos, works better than printing it out on paper, plus its way cool to watch it over and over and....never mind

I have to say I'm shocked at you saying that you have a new baby! I didn't think that anything would ever surpass Magnum, as far as you're concerned! I'm going to have to place a call to Robert L. Ripley and Cathy Lee Crosby on this one!

Secondly...

About the lighting thing, I'm sure CP won't disappoint. What they did in recent years with Millennium Force and Wicked Twister has been most impressive (not to mention the lighting effects on other rides like Power Tower). I'm confident that their lighting package will (in addition to the ride), knock our socks off! The count-down to launch lighting sync will truely make this thing a memorable experience at night.

I wonder, however, what the placement will be for the beacon light. I recall 3 years ago, a thread about this over in the Millennium Force forum where a beacon being required on structures over a particular height due to FAA regulations (especially since an airport is just a few brief miles away).

Hey now. As an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University, married to a woman who trained at UPMC, I loved living in Shi....I mean, Pittsburgh. So there! ;)

HEY!!!!! Don't even go there!! Or I'll be forced to resurrect a certain event at Heinz Field from last weekend where a certain football team canned another wretched team!!! ;)

My degree work didn't totally obliterate me. I still get out every 8 weeks or so!

The lights look so sweet... It is going to be great at night time seeing the lights go while in line for magnum or basically anywhere... lol

Still married, five years and counting.

She did her psych residency at WPIC. It didn't suck the life out of her, but then again psych is not as taxing as some specialities, she no longer takes call, nor does she still work in academic medicine. She spent one year as an attending at WPIC, and it was more than enough, stress-wise. Community mental health is far preferable to university hospital psychiatry! My best advice is to reach escape velocity as quickly as possible :)
