The Last of the Exclusive Ride Time

Today's exclusive ride time for Joe Cool was definitely an improvement over last Sunday's. I got quite a few rides in today (1 Raptor, 2 MF, 2 Mantis, and 1 Magnum). There did seem to be more people there today than there had been for the other ERTs, but the thing that made today better was the absence of what I call the "Millennium Force Complimentary Breakfast", a.k.a. gnats. Sunday was pretty gross, I definitely did not miss having bug guts splattered all over me. Call me evil if you wish, but another fun perk of ERT was the dirty looks we got from the people waiting in the huge Millenium Force line when we got to ride it before them. We also heard a lot of grumbles from the people in the long Mantis and Magnum lines. To anyone who is contemplating being a Joe Cool member next year, I highly recommend it. It was great getting to ride my favorite rides so many times, the portable parking pass came in handy countless times this year, and the discounts on food were also very helpful. Getting a free $9 entree at the Silver Dollar made for a delicious yet cheap lunch on several occasions. It's just too bad that Cedar Point can't be like PKI and have ERT for season pass holders every day. In the meantime, I'll settle for Joe Cool. Was anyone else there today? I didn't see any Coasterbuzz or GTTP shirts.
I got 7 laps in on the Force. Bringing my season total to 146. The line was a few minutes. After my fifth ride when we got to the enterence of the ride all of the people that ran to the force thinking they were going to be first were let in to fill the queues. Us Joe Cool people had trouble getting through due to the big crowd at the enterence. I loved walking by all of those other people! You would hear alot, "What is this all about?", and "Why do they get to go first?" After ERT was over I went to bed and caught up on some much needed sleep!

Hi, I'm new here, but I noticed something funny today at ERT. I heard a guy waiting behind me in line for MF this morning say that someone had gotten a stack of the wristbands and was giving them out. I have no idea if this is true or not. I think that some wristbands may have been given out, because I've been to a couple Joe Cool days, and there was never a wait for MF, except to get on the train. There was also a guy fumbling to put a new wristband on while we were exiting the train (he was in line to get on). I'd like to know if anyone else noticed this.
I didn't see anybody giving out wristbands other than the employees at the gate. Some people cut in front of us as we went through the turnstiles into the park, only to reach the Raptor entrance and be turned away because they didn't have wristbands on. I had to laugh..it served them right for being so rude. While I was bypassing the huge line for MF, I began to wonder how much those people at the end of the line be willing to pay for my wristband? LOL. I would never sell it, but it would be interesting to find out, wouldn't it?
