Is the action river the thing you float around in on the tubes? If so, I love those, but my cousin had been eye-balling TTD all day, and thought I was the biggest loser for making us chill on that.

This is another topic i never get tired of. The thing i always come back to is this. If CP wants to be held as one of the best resort options around then every aspect must be top notch. And while the water park is adequate (sp), it is by no means one of the best even in the state. Shade and a worn look top the list of what needs the most attention in my book. Try to make it its own identity. Like one is stepping out of the normal world into a waterpark not a bunch of slides clustered around the best coaster in the world next to a parking lot. Which reminds me, why is the park situated with its back to Cedar Point's best asset? the beach? I know it's to late now, but i wish that the powers that be had made the other choice back in '88.
Furthermore a new attraction every year or three would be ideal. Besides one waterpark attraction isn't as costly as many types of rides. If the park is attracting the people that many here claim then i don't see why it doesn't merrit improvements based on the ROI arguement.
But this whole post needs to go in the collumn of: the park needs to better create a resort complex that ties its pieces together better in that currently parking lot and road block the coehesion. At any rate when one looks at the whole package i would have to say that Soak City and the Adventure Park are the weak link in design and condition. To bad it's in the middle of every other piece on the point (besides the marina).
I dont even know, or care, what the topic is! Oh, wait, Soak City yadda yadda....
The point is...if you want to stay, you have to pay. I'm down with that, but is it to much to ask for the staff to be slightly helpful and pretend their life doesn't suck. This is not "resort living".
