The Footprint

CPfan76, by your logic, we should conclude that since NO new track has arrived in the last couple days, all is on site. hence the coaster will be around 250ft long, and only make it 1/3 of the way up the tower(after all, since construction hasn't YET started on the island, it never will!...)

the fact remains, the footprint for this coaster is not known to anyone, and construction is currently limited to where they won't interfere too much with the GP during Halloweekends. we have no idea where this thing will go, and wont--not until full construction begins.

i think some people just need to think on a larger timescale when it comes to construction.

Cedar Point has 7 months to compete this project. They havn't put much of a dent on the number of footers that need to be poured, yet they already started to build on footers poured many months ago.

They can't build when there are guests in the park, so they can't get construction up to full swing untill the season ends. they don't need to pour the footers unless about a month before they are going to build on them. Most of the layout will be done later.
