The few areas that need to be worked on.

CoasterMama, I could have swore that Cedar Point used to name sections of their parking lot after rides, I don't know what happened to it.

One area I feel needs some work is where Millennium Force crosses the path. Don't get me wrong, I love the tunnels, but the big flat spot
of dirt between the trail and Mantis's midcourse brakes is not very appealing. Adding a few trees would do the trick nicely. Personally before Millennium Force, I used to love the Frontier Trail because you couldn't really see any other part of the park. Millennium Force, IMO, really helped the Frontier Trail, but the only spot, once on the trail, where you can see the rest of the park, is at Millennium Force's tunnels.

Another area I feel could use some trees is Lighthouse Point. I stayed at Lighthouse 4 times last year and loved it except for one thing: trees. I really think that adding a few more trees on the perimeter of Lighthouse Point and in the middle area by the pool would really make the overall experience better.

1 - Parking Lot - have cool names for different sections. "

They did have this, until a few seasons ago. They've been replaced with a numbering system that can make it difficult to find your car (unless you're like me and park in the generally the same spot each time). Why they replaced easy to understand signs marking rows with a few scattered numbers on light poles, I'll never know.

Us old-timers will recall section names such as Demon Drop, Mine Ride, and Giant Wheel. I have a picture (go figure) of one of the signs and a map of the parking lot, but I'll have to find them.

I thought they still had little fact boards on some of their coasters...at least they used to.
There are still some fact boards at some of the Coasters. In fact. The one back at Mean Streak (which apparently was placed in 1992) mentioned stated the year it was built. (1991) then the description paragraph began "Built last year..."  I'm wondering when they will catch that little blooper. :)
Yeah there's a lot of stuff they should bring back, including ride names in the parking lot (I always think of the Gemini section) and the character ride signs.  We know that they still have many of the signs in places like TGI Friday's and the Town Hall Museum.  If they felt that they needed all the legal mumbo jumbo that is on the new signs, they could just modify the old ones.

I like the remaining fact boards too, the ones I think of are Blue Streak and Mean Streak.  They should either add the same kind of fact boards to the other coasters, or make a new kind and add it to all of them.

Another thing I'd like to see for each coaster (well maybe not Jr. Gemini and WE) is a big sign.  The ones that I can think of that have one already are Raptor (the gate), Mantis (the big logo lined in white), Disaster Transport (the poster with the technical stuff), MF (the big sign in the plaza), and Mine Ride (the gate).  Gemini, Wildcat, Iron Dragon, Magnum and others have logos on the station but it would be good to see them at the entrances.

I think the 2nd half of Mantis after the midcourse is in need of trees or something.  The ride is way too predictable because you can see all of it when waiting in line.  I think that part almost looks like (gasp) a coaster put where an old parking lot once was!  There is just a big open fenced off area with track and gravel on the ground, in my opinion.

Those parking signs were the best. I always wanted to park in the Gemini Section even though there were spaces closer

I am not sure if will still be there, but there was one left on the opposite side of road sign (speed limit I think). It is near the employee parking by spiral. Incidentally I think it is a space spiral sign.
