The DO's and DONT's at Cedar Point

Well.... I have been thinking about making this topic and if I really wanted to put in on here. So I did.....

I guess it's whatever you think they are.....

Dont: Ride Wicked Twister (or really any ride) with somone who is allready feeling sick from riding previous rides. Let them sit down and recover while you ride. Trust me....

Don't: bring loose articles on TTD

Do: Be courteous to your fellow linemates, and smoke before you get into line.

Do: Be prepared for every type of weather!

Don't: Complain, when coasters that are taller than the Statue of Liberty won't run in the rain

"Stay behind the yellow line". If you ever hear this announcement, it's because someone is guilty of doing it.

And on the C.P. & L.E. R.R., "Please remain seated until the train comes to a complete and final stop." It's amazing how many people on any given day must be taking a C.P. train ride for the very first time, because if they were on it before, they would know better than to try and exit before being told to do so.

DO 1.3. Don't bother asking if you don't know by now.

DON'T get surly with the nice kids who are there to serve you. The CP Fuzz will remove you from the park. No rain check. No refund. No, "Have a nice day!"

That was sooo easy.

DO try to be as curtious as possible to,......for lack of a better general term, invalid poeple. (wheelchair bound, baby strollers, canes, and the like) They would like to enjoy their day, as well. Nothing ticks me off more than seeing someone let a door/exit gate slam into the knees of someone in a wheelchair. I've even seen people move the chair&person out of their way

DO take a shower before getting in front of me for a long line!

DON'T throw your trash on the ground!

DON'T touch the airlock gates in the coaster stations. I have seen so many people do that and on some rides, the coaster will stop if someone touches the gates. On Mean Streak, this dumb @$$ kept touching the airlock gates when the train was leaving the station and it kept stopping b/c they would touch the gates.

Westside, I saw that also. Is it really rigged to stop whenever someone leans on the gate? Or is it just something the ride ops do for safety?

Anyway, Don't: bring your 80 yr old grandma and make her ride TTD ;-)

Do: get to the entrance early, and RUN to TTD!

Do: enjoy the rest of your day at America's Roller Coast!

The gates are designed to stop the train from leaving the station whenever they are pushed. We have no control over them. I just hope they make them a little less sensitive because they are really annoying!

DON'T sit or stand on the railings while in line. They're just gonna announce that you need to get off them. (if your that tired, just pop a squat on the ground anyhow!)

Villageidiot, that has to be the funniest thing in a long time. that gets SO ANNOYING! you'd think people would catch on after the first two or three times. that was a good laugh to start my day.

TTD Laps-2

Do:Take in the sights, sounds and smells of the park because it is quite a nice experience

Do: Ride everything that you can and follow the safety procedures they are there for a reason

Don't: Go up to ANY ride entrance and crunch down as you walk by asking if you are tall enough that is not only unfunny and annoying it is just plain stupid.

Don't: Yell CLEAR or any other word that rhymes with clear when the Ride Ops do it there were these two drunks that kept doing it for 15 min. straight and I wanted to smack the crap out of both of them

Don't: Forget to catch some of their award winning live shows

I do agree with Bradwags the air gates could be a little less sensitive becasue holind our thumbs up for 5 min. straight is not fun.
