The Cedar Point Beach

i've heard that a lot happens on the beach, especially during 4th of july. like what?

There's fireworks on the 4th of July, but if you're referring to the employee beach, then not much. There might be a bonfire once in awhile. I went down there with my friends one night last May and saw some guy streaking...that was about the most interesting thing I saw all summer...

And the employee beach, at least where it used to be, no longer exsists.. there's a rather tall ride being put up there right now..

I don't want to talk bad about the beach or anything. it actually is a prety good beach, except I tend to stay away from Lake Erie beaches in May early June. I remember walking on the Sandcastle beach lst year, and there was this black sludge everywhere. It's nothing CP can control, just leftover debris and goo from the winter. It eventually goes away though.

JDawg--you a first year?? my im name on aol is natebeal99 if you have it, I could tell ya some stories...best place for employees is probably Louies, most people go there...I wish they still had the beach, had some fun times there during movie night :) hehehehe

Oddly enough, I have very few gripes about the beach. Excepting the cigarette butts and caked bird dung (which is part and parcel of working at the park anyway). the beach can be a nice diversion. I hope the new ride doesn't take this employment benefit away because it will steal a prime wafer zone for merrymaking.
