The Blog is Gone?

Could I apply for this spot next year when I decide to work at the point? Could do a Behind The Scenes of the rides I work at....

It's a full-time position; not a seasonal one, so likely no.

No more pointcasts?
Well I swear I remember Hildebrandt mentioning they were planning on doing another video for sweeps when we were all together after our training... but if not I am really going to miss those videos! They got me so excited for the season to start! I remember those videos on Shoot the Rapids... they were the only reason why I even wanted to ride it!
Hopefully Cedar Point incorporates something similar into the facebook page =/

Over/Under 4 months till we have a new blog poster?

I'm taking the under. It would be stupid if they didn't get someone to interact with guests over the off season.

I hate to say it but, from what I've observed the past season, I've seen some pretty stupid decisions from higher ups in CF and some stuff is going to hit the fan not that far off in the future if they don't get something figured out for their debt issues. So, I would not hold your breath on a new blog poster person soon.

Two things. I feel they should have at least left their last message up there for a while longer, since I don't check that often I may not have seen they were leaving and would have tried to find the blog. Second, how long does it take to update a blog? they say it will be impossible to update it with all the work to be done around the park.

Just more proof of how absolutely backward CF management is when it comes to technology. It's time for the dinosaurs to go.

I don't know if anybody here also keeps up with Kings Island too, but earlier this season they had a thing on their facebook. It was called 5@5. Everyday they would be asked questions and they would pick 5 of the best and answer them at 5 every night. Suddenly it just stopped. No explanation or anything. It was great for both fans and for the park. Guessing the decision came down from higher-ups, I really have no faith left in the people that run CF.

Aw I miss the blog! The Cedar Point page seems empty without it =(

CP, in general, really feels different now minus the blog and T&T.

I happen to have taken screen shots of one blog, but I'd love to see record of the other blogs. I hope they are not forever lost =[
