Gee, I thought this entire thread about was the new paint color of the Iron Dragon. I guess you and your lack of humor missed that part.

I had humor about the post...problem is you ran it into the ground and i got tired of hearing you repeat the same joke over and over...thats all :)

2 times using two variations is running it into the ground? Okay....

If I had a dime for every time someone ran the Magnum Is Sinking joke, I'd be rich. ;)

I think the colors are kinda loud. However, as time wears on theyll fade and it might look better.

I think the colors look similar to TTD's...red track, orange/yellow supports? Plus the two coasters are in close proximity to one another. Wouldn't of been my choice of colors, but hey, whatever.

That was the purpose (I'm sure). But they could have chosen a different color from the color wheel that would compliment TTD, (a cooler color selection) not compete with it.

I don't like the new color...it's too bright. I like the old paint job (...just like I liked Gemini's station before they painted it)

Oh well....but if they touch Magnum and make it look like the eyesore Iron Dragon is, I'm gonna lose it. :)

Hey, I actually like the colors too. Apart from screaming McDonalds, I think the colors really bring out the ride. Perhaps they went a little too far, but it was probably an attempt to make it stand out next to its neighbor ;)

give it time. it well fad and look better. they should paint it camo so you cant see it in the tress that would be cool. a lot of money and hard to do

I think the new colours look good. It makes the ride really come out of the woods. My friend mistook it for part of Dragster on the webcam though... :)

Cedar Dan's post reminded me of a story our local news did on TTD when it first opened. I don't know how they did it, but they combined it with Mantis and where saying that 120mph at 420feet while standing was too much for them. And this was on TV! I should have corrected them but never did.

Back to the subject,
Careful saying that ID's new paint needs to blend into the trees, because they could just cut the trees down...
