The '04 "Orange" Iron Dragon

Does anyone else agree with me in the fact that the Iron Dragon now looks like an eyesore with it's obnoxiously loud color combination of red track and orange support columns? I understand it's purpose was to blend well with it's giant neighbor but I think they went a little overboard in the red-yellow color family... ick! *** Edited 7/30/2004 11:22:30 PM UTC by DemonDroppin'***

I like it.

It is a little "loud". I heard people call it the McDonald's ride. I'd rather it be anything other than yellow, orange or red.

I liked it the way it was before, it was rustic looking with it's deep red. I actually felt like I was on an Iron Dragon, well not really, but ya get what I mean;).

I hate the new color, its like they took the lleftover paint fron dragster and threw it on there. Its horrible and doesent blend well with the trees.. its awfull

What would have been nice is like a nice gray with crimson rails.. That would compliment dragster and the trees

I think it looks better the way it was before myself, I haven't been to CP since last year and when I first saw pics of it my first thoughts were it doesn't look good. Red is ok, orange isn't.

i honestly think it looks absouletly hideous - but it does look like the TTD,but comeon guys, paint doesnt effect the quality of a ride, or does it?????? :)

Let's just hope they don't repaint other rides, I think CP looks great the way it is, the Blue Streak wouldn't look the same being painted orange.

Sometimes I think CP goes overboard with their theming of certain rides and they "taint" other rides, please leave ID alone!

The new color is ugly, but they did a good job at making the supports match highway construction barrels.

I guess I'm the odd one out that likes the new color.

I think that the trains do not match the colors that much which kinda makes the ride look really out of place. I don't like the orange supports, I thought grey matched the green trains better.

I hate it. If they changed the station's color and the train's color so that it fit, it would be okay, but it is an eyesore and it doesn't blend with the trees at all.

It's gross looking ... but I'm just about used to it now I think. Seriously though, I hope they don't try to update any of the other rides by splashing on a few cans of finger paint.

I'm the only one here that will say this but here it goes. I really like the new colors, because to me it brings more character to the ride. It gives it that Iron Dragon Name. One thing I'd like to point out to yall is that Top Thrill Dragster's yellow is not the same yellow as Iron Dragon. Iron Dragon has like a darker Orange/yellow color than Top Thrill Dragster. Top Thrill Dragsters colors are more like a brighter yellow. When you guys are in the queue next time, look closely.
