Thanks.

I just got back from CP, I had spent Saturday (6/15/06) all day there, and I have to say I was impressed by the crews who helped make the lines bareable (in the crazy heat). I'd like especially like to say an extra thanks to the crews of a few rides who I thought went to and beyond of what is required. Including those who worked the Skyhawk Morning/Midday, and the crew at the TTD late night.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, I'm kinda new to around here. =3

Glad you had a great day Andrea, and welcome to PointBuzz. I'm still fairly new around here too (as far as posting goes). I think you meant 7/15/06 though. And this should probably go in the Trip Report area. I was there in the morning of 7/15, and the crews were doing a great job. I had to leave around 2pm, and it really starting to get hot at that point.

Bareable lines? What is this, a nudist park?

;)

Glad to hear you had a nice time, and welcome to Pointbuzz! I have also seen some incredible Skyhawk crews where they all run.

Thrills Around the Corner!

Lol Yay finally something good about our ride. Thanks so much guys. We try to have as much fun as possible and stay professional. The past few days have been really hard with the heat. Our guests are shorter tempered and we have to keep our cool during the heat waves. We have fun and talk with our guests and make sure everything is as safe and comfortable for everyone. Thanks again and hope to see you again soon!

TTD2005, the SkyHawk crew is doing great. I'm sure the last few days have been hard with the heat, and only one side of the swing working.

I've definately noticed an improvement on the loading times since the beginning of the season.

Can't wait to get back this weekend for some more "screaming swings" on Skyhawk!

Keep up the good work!

Except for the stapling...

I haven't been getting the stapling. I can still push down the lapbar a couple of clicks after they have pushed it. And I still get good airtime on the highest swings.

Whenever I ride, I push the lapbar down as far as it can go. The airtime is incredible on that ride, and I almost make comments on how much better we are than maXair because of our restraints. I agree, the lapbars aren't designed for all people, skinnier people have a harder time with them because the curvature of the lapbar hurts their hips. We do as we are instructed and trained. If there is ever any problem or discrepency, someone can always contact a ride host. wow I sound like an auto spiel..lol

You hit the nail on the head with that one... That's exactly why I have such painful rides.
