Thank God Its Friday

Well just got an email saying I will have an interview this week for TGIFS!Anyone else have any good news

ok question did you apply for food services or franchise foods? jw

I think I applied for both.Im kinda scared now though because I read that we are lucky to get 40 hours which is crap because they are required to pay overtime if its off the actual theme park.Im going to ask if I can be transferred to the one on because I want tons of hours to save alot of money

Well there 2 different things in one of your previous post i read and you said food services/franchise foods now if you applied for franchise foods and not food services thats why you have an interview there more than likely. Well no the only restaurant off the park is the fridays at breakers. They will only work you like 38 hours is what I have been told. Now like the famous daves or break water cafe you can work more because those are seasonal restaurants And any restaurants inside the park like game day grille or what not you can work over 40 to..

so you are saying TGIF on the beach is in the park?

wait what fridays is interviewing you
the one at breakers? or castaway?

I think the one at breakers is called TGIF on the beach

yeah that one your going to get like 35-39 hours from what I have heard. Now if you were to work at famous Daves or breakwater you could get way more cause of them being seasonal. Anything in the park with food is going to get you 50-60 is what I have heard

[url][url]this is crap.I just emailed the manager and asked him so hopefully Ill find out soon.I told him I want to save alot of money this summer.should I ask if he can forward my app to rides or something because that little hours wont do me s#$!.I might just have to go with other job offers I have gotten.

Thats what I have been told now from a few past employees who have worked there. I would just talk with him and see what he says first because this is my first year to and I am only going off former employees things might have changed?
im not sure
see if you can be looked at by rides or work at a food place in the park?

im definitly going to ask because I definitly wont work there.what am i supposed to do with 200 dollars a week minus housing and food ya know.they should at least pay more

Noo you will get payed alot ok soo take 7.40 times that by 77 hours for 2 weeks take off taxes and housing and food your left with 200 extra every 2 weeks and would have 400 extra a month. save 200 of that work 6 months and you got 1200 to take home.

and to me honestly its not about the money there its about the experience and the people and friendships you build and just having an amazing summer while doing something you love and being somewhere you love!

i really would love to work for cedar point because I LOVE rollercoasters but Im more into money because it costs alot to come back to where Im working this next winterIm currently working for vail resorts in vail colorado and plan on coming back as a dishwasher making 10 dollars an hour and by the end I should have around 5 to 6 thousand saved. What is 1200 gonna do me,lol

Ahh yeah thats true. Idk Just talk to them and see what they say. what manager is talking to you about it?

The thing is yeah its great to work at Cp because of the rollarcoasters and i love them, but the ting is you work and party so much that you will only go to the park maybe 10 times tops. Great money, i love working in food service . i worked at Johnny rockets and red gater this summer and made bank

^For most waiters/waitresses I knew, tips more than balanced it out. The job definitely seems to have the potential to make the most money out of all the seasonal positions.

Thats what I was told to by someone who worked there he said you can easily make 100 a day if not more if you work hard and you do that 6 days a week. You make 2000+ just on tips if you think about it
