TGIFs - Sunday 3-14-04

Over my many "Po!nter" years, I have always found that best get togethers are the spur of the moment ones. The past Sunday my fiancé Eric and I had to be in Huron. I decided to call some of my fellow Po!nters and see if they wanted to get together. The long drive to Sandusky was it’s usual boring self. You can definitely tell Spring is on the way by all the roadkill-blech!!! :(

This get together included Matt (Skykicker aka PhotoMatt ;)) Dave (DodgeemDave) my PIC Matt (Hooper) and Hooper’s friend Fish (not his GTTP handle, that is just what he goes by) Seeing them got me totally excited for CP to open, and to add yet more memories. We talked for almost 5 1/2 hours and ONLY left because TGIFs was closing! Remembering some of our trips and giving my fiancé some insight to just how nuts we all was so much fun! :) Good thing for me he fits RIGHT in!!

I will be the 1st to admit that my CP withdrawal wasn’t as bad this Winter thanks to having 2 Florida vacations. I guess 10 laps on Fire and Ice can heal all Raptor DTs! ;) But once hanging with the gang, Eric and I now really do look forward to this season.

High Po!nts: Seeing some of my closest CP buds who I missed terribly. Laughing so much and sharing some of our CP adventures. On the way home, Eric and I would just start cracking up thinking about some of the stories! :)

Low Po!nts: We were hoping on a couple others to show but they didn’t, and not being able to get ahold of a couple people (Tony for 1) was a bummer too :(
We were really hoping Mr Skyward would make an appearance at TGIFs (hey, he's done it before!) We even went looking for him in the mall earlier that day! He didn’t show, guess we will just have to wait till OD to see him! ;)

Thanks again to Matt, Dave, Hooper for yet another great time and Fish it was great meeting you! CU AT CP!!

Wth is the deal with the freaking snow outside? I am so sick of this Ohio weather it sucks! It was 50 yesterday, now it's 31 and we've got 3" on the ground already, and it's STILL coming down! :(
Give me Florida ANY day!

Thanks, but no thanks Rob although I appreciate the offer! ;) It is flattering to me that Mr Skyward does know me (by name even!) and when I was working on Raptor he ALWAYS rode in my row or made sure he waved at me. He is very sweet and a DEFINITE CP icon (next to you, of course Rob! he he he ;))
