Ten Years Ago...1998

Everyone that worked down at Cedar Point in 1998...Can you believe it has been 10 years since that great summer? Time sure does fly!

Where did y'all work at in 1998?

Airplanes fly. Time passes. People age. Kids grow.

Imagine approaching 20 years, and I know some 30 years linger around here too. Wow does time fly.

God I was there the summer of '80 and it seems like yesterday. I still miss it on occasion. And it has not changed all that much.. The rides are better and there are more useless rules....

LOL oh my oh my, I was in booster bucks, the first of three years in high school marching band every weekend from opening weekend to end of halloweekends...minus the whole month of june and half the month of july and a few weekends we did band festivals...worked in foods locations and tony actually made me a blue tag...IN BOOSTERS(worked, Gulliver's Grill, Corkscrew Refreshments, Coaster Coolers...which don't sell wine coolers ;), the Icee place by the marina gate, and the lemon ice stands)...Hilarious to think back on it now as a fourth year actual employee of Cedar point. I earned enough to pay for half my trip to Disney my freshmen year in band, (since I only worked halloweekends the year before I still think thats pretty impressive...I worked a lot of hours in those weekends)...then alll of my trip to Virginia Beach my junior year and I had about 450 dollars I got as a check graduating from high school. Some fun times...lol...almost came back as an actual employee in foods in 2002, got hired for my choice of Coaster Coolers by Tony, but I had to cancel because my family did last minute plans for the summer...didn't realize how well they could work around them at the park :(, but oh wells must be meant to be because came back in 2004 and started in Merch, became tl in July in Plaza, skipped 2006, working in wyoming, and came back and loving it.

1998 Park Services...hehe and boy did it change my life.

1998. Hell, has it been ten years? Yup, I guess it has. I was at the Boathouse that year. Anybody else from that year around?

Also, how about Ammar and Samil, the British guys that worked at Silver Dollar... you out there?

Yeah i know what you all mean 10 Years?! Damn i am getting Old! Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the Cedar Point Alumni thing going on. My goal is to go back maybe next summer and brave all the rollercoasters!

I was there in may of 1998 and i worked at the Boathouse.

Wow.. Ten years.. actually its been 11 years since I stopped working at the point.. Time flies.. but the memories will always remain.
