I saw one last Wednesday on the TV show "The Middle", starring Patricia Heaton who by the way was a graduate of Bay Village High School (as was I). The series takes place in a fictional southern Indiana town. In the episode a neighbor comes to the front door and says that she is taking her kids to Cedar Point.
Family Ties was "based" in Dayton, not Columbus.
The Avengers filmed the initial dark matter research facility out at Plum Brook Station in the vacum chamber. That has utterly nothing to do nor does it mention CP of course, but is cool all the same.
The fact that major studios own the known universe inhibits the odds of TV or movies mentioning the park, or filming there. But it would be fun if a few did.

I do recall an episode in which Skippy was going to go meet his real mother for the first time, and she happened to be aresident of Dayton. That is the only Dayton reference I am able to recall, though being based in Columbus, I would imagine there were probably several more throughout the history of the show.
Odd, all these years, between living in L.A. and back in NW Ohio I never, ever, ever connected them with Columbus. Even the PBS station Mr. Keaton was supposed to run was something I pinned to Dayton. It might have been my mother laughing at a incorrect background for some establishing shot, or somebody wearing a U. of Dayton sweater, not sure.

Columbus, Ohio was the setting.

While not Cedar Point, I thought it was cool that they filmed a scene for 'Draft Day' with Kevin Costner at Wild Water Kingdom.
Looks like they managed to slip past the Paramount censors in Tommy Boy after all, as according to imdb, there is a scene where a Cedar Point mug can be seen in the background.
I'd also like to add that I remember an episode of the short-lived Nickelodeon series "Penguins of Madagascar" where they made a joke about an animal being transferred to Toledo, Ohio.
