Tax Forms & Applications

Has anybody recieved their tax forms yet? It's December19th, and I still don't have mine yet.

Also, I heard a rumor that Applications come out Friday. True, or False?

Employers have until January 31, 2013 to send the W-2. Even though most seasonal workers are finished for the year, I wouldn't think they'd send anything until after 2012 is complete.

I didn't get mine until mid January last year. I've never heard of anybody not getting theirs

For the last two years, I've gotten mine mid-end of January.

As for the application, who knows? In any case, calls won't be going out until mid-January anyway and I'm sure when they do go up, Facebook will be a flood of "Reapplied!" "Yay Cedar Point" etc.

If they are still doing things the way they used to, there really hasn't been anyone in a lot of the offices since IAAPA. They go back to work after the first of the year.

When we were at the CP Christmas Party last weekend I got to meet a guy that has been with the company for awhile now. He says something has gone up and Applications might be coming later than they normally would. Since I was intoxicated I didn't get much for the reason, I just know for certain he said that they might be delayed from when the applications went out a few years ago. Sorry, lol.

But sometimes your manager will even contact you before you fill out an application!

What has gone up is the Social Security withholding. There was a temporary reduction (back in '08 I believe) which ends at the end of the year. Everyone was waiting to see if it was extended, which it wasn't.

Well i went on valleyfairs website and there applications are not up yet either and the open the same day as us but yeah i want the applications to come out already too

Nobody informed me about the CP Christmas Party. lol

It wasn't a huge CP party, if you follow Louies on facebook they got it together. They've done it for 3-4 years now.
