Switching Departments

I work at geauga lake and work in the games department, and am almost about to switch departments, because I hate working the games. For the reason why I want to transfer, I would put that I hate my job, and I cant stand being alone at my game all day. Would that be an acceptable reason for me wanting to transfer?, I cant think of anyother reasons they would reject it, I have a good attendace record, i am a good worker, and our department is staffed just fine. Also about how long does it take for a transfer to be complete? Do they allow you to switch after you finished all of your scheduled work in that department or no? Any info would be great, thanks!

Just put that you are unhappy in games and want something more challenging.

Transfering within a company can be tricky. I once transferred because I hated the new GM that was about to start (actually hate is putting it nicely) but I put on my transfer form that it was due to hours and that it would provide me more financial balance.
