Switching departments?

Hi I was wondering if it would be possible for me to switch from being a ride host to working in a restaurant/foods? I don't start work until June so would I still be able to change it? If so how would I go about doing that?

And you actually don't have the ability to switch departments prior to processing in. Generally, they will have you at least give it a chance before you are even given the ability to switch... and I'm just going to throw this out there, I personally have never heard of someone getting switched to a different department. People swap rides and locations all the time. Not so much from department to department.

In order to switch departments you can call HR and ask them to change your application, however, if you are hired already by someone in rides you would have to contact your manager and let them know you would want to switch departments. Then they can tell you what to do from there.

Yeah, I'd stick it out in rides before you make a drastic change like moving to food services.
