I was looking forward to this trip as it very well may have been my last trip this year, and I definately was not let down. I got to the park early, at 8, and got a parking spot right across from the main gate in case I decided not to buy food in the park. I got in line for entry at around 8:30 (Jeff, was that you at the gate I was talking to?) and talked about various parks and rides with a few people. As soon as the gates opened I was off to maXair for an all day marathon that I was hoping would get me up to 50 rides for the season (long story short; back on opening day I decided I would go for either 50 or 100 rides). I didn't catch my usual first ride in seat 1, but did manage to get in 3 rides by 9:30. After three more enjoyable rides my stomach was starting to cry foul, so I hopped on Wicked Twister and Demon Drop to calm my stomach, got a donut, and took a short walk. I had noticed that TTD was down and walked back there to see if anyone was working on it. After checking that I walked back to maXair for a few more rides which got me up to 42. The lines had been about usual, with a 40 minute wait being my longest. After this I was feeling a little hungry and a bit thirsty, so I headed over to Dragster for a giant snow cone. I checked Magnum and Gemini, but both had lines, so I walked around aimlessly for a while to let my stomach settle again. After that I was there until my 50th ride, and let me tell you, the playlists get boring after the third time, especially when Monster Mash is skipping horribly. The crew made my last few rides enjoyable, and my 50th a ride that I will never forget. At the end of my 50th ride it was about 6:00, and I still had a long drive back home and school on Tuesday, so I walked back to Magnum for a good ride in the ejector seat. After that it was, sadly, time to leave the park. I got a quick picture in front of maXair's sign and made my way out to the car.
All in all, the best day I have ever had at the Point, by a mile. Thanks to the maXair crew for making my day enjoyable and helping me reach 50. I'll never forget you and I wish I was still there riding maXair. Without all of you I wouldn't have had as good of a day. Here's to hoping I see you next year.

The thought of 50 rides makes me want to hurl.
Im not sure how many rides I have - but after Media Day, I've decided I can only stomach 1 or 2 spincycles a visit before I've had enough.
Man, I must be the only one here who still enjoys spinning. *lol* Plus, Dragster wasn't open, FreeWay is done, and most of the coasters on the Main and Gemini Midway had waits of around 3/4 hour or more whenever I checked, and I didn't feel like waiting for anything other than maXair, which was only longer than 20 minutes like 5 of the times that I waited in line. You really would be surprised how much fun it can be riding just one ride most of the day, and the fact that no one else would think of doing it because of their stomachs makes it even better. I guess I just have a very unique taste in rides, lol.
Hey, how do you get those smilies in your post? I still haven't figured that out.

Put : and ) together.
Okay, thanks Walt. I didn't know how the board interpreted php and Invision smilie code, so I never tried it. :)

: and ) is a general smiley for many things. The codes used here are also pretty standard on most message boards.
congrats on reaching 50! yes, maXair crew is awesome, i know for a fact, because i worked there! i probably saw you earlier in the season. i definitely couldn't handle riding it all day... but props to you for achieving such a lofty goal :)
If you were there in early July, I think I remember who you are. I noticed someone wasn't there that I saw in July, and reading your post, I think it was you.
