Here's how it went down...
We left my sister's apartment around ten after 7 AM and got to the park around 10ish. We processed our season passes and went into the park.
First ride of the day was Blue Streak. Whoa baby! What a way to start off the 2008 season, right? Like always, it was a typical walk on and bumpy.
Next ride was of course Top Thrill Dragster. It was my second time on it. We waited about... 45 minutes to get on. My friend and I rode 2nd to last seat and while we were waiting to launch, she put her hands up and the recording kept repeating "KEEP ARMS DOWN!" Then I finally turned to her and told her to put her arms down so we could launch then all of the sudden we're off. Of course, I took my hands off at the top and made a face at the camera at the end.
After the Dragster, we headed to Power Tower on the launching up side. That was my first time ever on that ride, and I gotta admit, it's not too bad. I thought it'd be boring.
Later on, we headed towards MAGNUM XL-200! :) Walked onto the ride. Rode towards the front. The crew made it seem like the line wasn't long at all, it moved so fast. The ride itself was bumpier than the last time I remember riding it. It seemed rougher than Mean Streak.
After that, we headed towards Gemini which was also a walk on. Fun stuff...although we weren't racing. :(
Then we headed out towards Maverick. We waited a good hour+ for that ride. That's the shortest that I've personally had to wait for that ride. Maverick is a decent ride, but not my favorite.
Oh good ol' Millennium Force, how I love you. After Maverick, that's where we headed. We only waited about 45 minutes for it. When we finally got to the platform, it started to rain. We go to get on the train, we're all strapped in ready to go then the Op says, "Lapbars are being released, lap bars are released" So we went behind the gate and waited about...10-20 more minutes to get on. Then after that amount of time, we got on and rode. Best ride ever... :) I love Millennium Force.
The rest of the day seems like a blur, but I remember going to Johnny Rockets after Millennium. I ate a hot dog and it costed $4.69ish!! What the heck?! That sucked.
After eating and taking a Motrin break out at the car, we headed to Raptor. We only waited about a half hour for a middleish seat. Which isn't too bad because it's a popular ride.
Last ride of the night (4:30PM ish) was a walk on, good ol' Iron Dragon ride. There were these really obnoxious girls in front of us acting like monkies. I wanted to slap someone, but since I couldn't I did some pretty obnoxious things myself. :) Oh how I love the "Scariest-ride-in-the-park" Iron Dragon.
So, we left the park around 4:30ish. Before leaving, we did stop it "Mix it up! Icee" or whatever that place is called. I gave it a thumbs down because, almost NONE of the machines worked and blue raspberry flavor didn't work either. :( $6 for a 3/4 cherry, 1/8 lemon lime and 1/8 blue raspberry slushee, is just insane!!! All in all, it was a pretty decent day.
So stoked for 2010 :]

I noticed that the park had "weird ride waits". Like the park had crowds migrate to one ride or two at a time.
I found Raptor with 1 hour waits, and 1/4th of an hour waits on Sunday......
Same thing with many other rides.
You just have to time it right without spending 40 minutes walking around looking for the ride with the shortest line.
We also have a habit of riding Power Tower to check out the waits for rides such as Raptor, Millennium Force, Mantis, and Top Thrill Dragster.
My girlfriend likes power tower the least. Meanwhile I would love to ride it every other ride hah.
I must have gotten lucky, my girlfriend and I were there and it was the slowest I've EVER seen CP...of course I've never been this early in the year, either.....
Raptor - 15 minute wait
Wicked Twister -5 minute wait
Corkscrew - 10 minute wait
Chaos - Walk on
Magnum - 5-10 minute wait
Millenium Force - 10-15 minute wait
Mean Streak - 5-10 minute wait
The only thing I can think to compare it to is Geauga Lake's attendance during the middle of summer - dead (unless i was lucky that day, too!)...

I hope it was a pretty good hot dog for that price. lol.
"You wanna, you gotta, you hafta hold on, Cedar Point...HOLD ON!"
chew it for me even, put it in a blender even and just mix it up and feed me through a straw and cart me around from coaster to coaster.
I know really! (about the food.) We were also walking through frontier trail or whatever and we passed this Brats and Hotdog stand and Brats were like 7 bucks! whats up with that?!
So stoked for 2010 :]
