Sunday May 8th

Hubby and I had plans on attending OD but I just did not feel like making that trip for the 2nd day in a row so we opted to wait till Sunday. Good move!

High Po!nts:
The weather was outstanding. No shorts needed, jeans and sweat shirt was perfect for us. Temps in the low 70’s and plenty of sunshine through out the day.

Raptor relief....my withdrawal is over! :)
In staying with tradition, had to be 1st ride of the day. As it will be the last ride of the season too! It was pretty much a walk on all day. We managed 5 flights. I adore the crew this season...hubby worried I may want to work up there again this season!

Getting to listen to my hubby on MaXair. He was pretty funny during his 1st ride, as for me, it was my 10th and it was still awesome. We rode it 2x, longest wait was 20 minutes and don’t imagine it exceeded 30 minutes the whole day.

MF’s line appeared to be it’s usual way too long for me. Lucky for a couple of passes we got on it in 5 minutes.

Maggie’s paint job looks great, and she was kicking butt! :)

The new Raptor shirt this season is way cool! Needless to say I bought one! :)
(another design idea for yet another tattoo? hmmmm)

Seeing some of my CP buddies was wonderful as always! Although I saw some of them last Sunday at the seminar it was great seeing them again :)

Walking around the whole park enjoying the sights and sounds, it had been one long freaking winter I, for one, never thought it would end! :(

Low Po!nts:
Sorry to say that TTD was it’s usual No Thrill Dumpster most of the day again. It seemed every time we looked over there it was down. We didn’t even attempt to ride it. No loss for either one of us. 2 years later and it still isn’t right :(
Best of luck to SFGrtA and KK!

Besides that an awesome "opening day" for my hubby and I. Can’t wait till our next trip!

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

My brother and I saw the new Raptor shirts, they do look AWESOME!

We were there Sunday too, we did MF first thing and we were the second train out. When our train rounded the last overbanked turn, the queues were filling up pretty fast, so we went straight to Raptor and waited maybe 10 minutes.

Went to Wicked and then did MaXair for my first "spin". Pretty nifty ride! I enjoyed it. Never been on that type of ride before (I plan on doing PKI later this month).

We then walked by TTD and saw them testing it, so we waited in line by the bleachers and waited for them to finish test riding. All together we waited 25 minutes there (they let us in the queues but didn't let us load the station for another 10 minutes).

We then did Magnum (nice paint job, can't wait until they finish it) and decided to leave for the day. It was 2 pm, and I was badly sunburned (what's new lol).

It was beautiful outside and I was happy to see many returning crew members/park staff. Can't wait to do it all again!
