High Po!ints: Obviously getting to ride my big green baby again. Hit it up 3x during Joe Cool so the wait was non existent :)
The weather was beautiful (glad I opted for long sleeves!) the crowd was pretty light all day.
Actually had a good ride on MS! Gold train, front car!
Banged into Mr. Skyward (sporting his Power Tower sweat shirt) who looked really excited to see us (me?) He asked if we had ridden Skyhawk yet, and said he really liked it.
Apparently Mr. Skyward is our CP connection. He said the new ride is going to be a 500’ coaster and it is going to be BIG!
Everyone all jacked up about what/where/by who/how high…all we had to do was ask Mr. Skyward! ;)
My hubby ate 1.25 worth of cotton candy during the day…loves the stuff!
The Skyhawk t-shirt I added to my (just what I need another CP shirt) collection.
Seeing a lot of people I hadn’t seen since last season (Mikey and Rusty especially!) was nice too. Missed CP-almost had forgotten how much till we got there!!
The best high point of the day was NOT hearing the words “National Geographic” AT ALL!
Low Po!nts: Obviously Skyhawk’s grounding. It wasn’t that big a deal to me since I’ve already ridden it, but my hubby was looking forward to riding it. He wasn’t real happy to find out MaxAir was suffering from the same fate. Waiting in line to ride MF (against my hubby’s better judgment) only for it to go down 2x. A 30 minute wait escalated to an hour, and had we not gotten off the line (we had to get home) we would have waited another 30 minutes once the ride was up again. Nothing worse than listening to “I told you so” by your hubby!
Seeing 5 new musical carousel horses I HAVE to add to my collection!! Why is this a low point? Cause they cost $42.95 each and I (as well as my hubby) know I HAVE to have ‘em all!!! Sorry I left my Discover Card home!! Oh well…next trip!
All in all a wonderful day, we had a great time!! :)

Lifetime Raptor flights: 1080 :)
Lifetime Skyhawk flights: 17 :)
It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
As for MS - must be the Gold train. Larry said he rode gold as well and had good ride. Randy & I had green and it was horrible!
Did you pick up your new Raptor shot glass?
