Sunday June 16th crowds? (Chris Smith 5k day)

What's up guys?!

I'm going to be at the park June 15th and 16th and thought I was going to be fine, getting Fast Lanes for Saturday and thinking Sunday wouldn't be too bad. With the announcement that the 5k challenge will be that Sunday, how much (if at all) will that affect crowds? I really can't afford fast lanes for both days but don't want to be waiting in endless lines because of the competitors and spectators of the run.

Thanks in advance!

I can't imagine it having a huge impact on the crowds. Even if 2,000 runners show up (I have no idea what they're expecting or how many they had last year) and stayed all day, it would likely be a pretty negligible impact on the overall crowds.

I highly doubt that the race will have more affect on the crowd than the fact that it's June 16. Like Ralph said, negligible at best. We were there for bonus weekend last year during the Rev3 Triatholon. Breakers was booked solid but most of the people were there for the race and could have cared less about roller coasters (if they even knew they were there). I would expect something similar.
