I was with a group from school, and I really wasn't expecting a whole lot, because usually my school trips suck. Also, the forcast for the park was not good, thunderstorms all day, so I was almost dissapointed with my trip before I even went. Well, after the 3 hour bus ride, we were thier and the sky was very gray, but it wasn't raining. We got our tickets, and off we went. I was hanging out with 2 girls, they are both pretty cool.
I noticed right away that their were not very many cars in the parking lot, probobly because of the rain. Now I have never rode Raptor in the morning before, because of the crowds, but it was irresitable. At 10:15, the wait was 10 minutes. I waited the extra 7 or 8 for front seat. Next, we headed over to Wicket Twister (Walk on). Got a great second to back seat ride, my favorite. Then we decided to head over to the best ride ever built, Millenium Force. I was expecting the usual 1 1/2 hour wait, but the sign said 1/2 hour. It wasn't anywere near that, we walked half way up the ramp to the station before we got to the line. Ended up being about a 10 minute wait, little less.
I was tempted to get back in line, but the girls didn't want to. Then we hit Mantis. It was rough and I did not have fun on it. Then we headed over and got two walk on Power Towers, one on each side. After this, we went to TTD. I had never been on it before. ONLY A 20 MINUTE WAIT. Wow, I realized that I would probobly never be at the park when it was this light again. We then walked over to Maggie, and got two walk on rides in a row. Then we did Gemini and Mean Streak. After that it cleared up and got HOT, so we went on White Water Landing.
After all that, we went down to check out raptor again. We got two walk on rides. The second time, if not for a group of people comming into the station at the last minutes, we would've been the only ones on the train. Then we headed back to Dragster. We had about a 15 minute wait to get to the station, but we waited for front seat, which because of a minor breakdown ended up taking about an hour and ten minutes. But, finally, we got on. This ride was awesome in the front. Both of my contacts got stuck in the back of my eyes, lol. When we reached the exit ramp, we got stuck. One of the girls was still on the launch platform. They let us off, but she was still stuck. While she sat there, we went and got a ride on WT.
After about an hour or so, she finally launched, and we met her at the exit. Then we headed to Millenium again, and took two consecutive rides, both about 20-25 minute waits. I found out I love the back seat the best, even better than the front.
Then, we decided we wanted to hit dragster again. We got up to the station in about 25 minutes (the sign sait an hour). But, while in the station, it broke down a few times. We ended up waiting for about an hour and a half. In line I met a person named Dave. I know he is a regular because he was talking about how he had 7 rollbacks and 202 rides, plus I was POSITIVE I had seen him before, but I don't know if it was his picture on here or if it was at the park. Anyways, it broke again and the same girl was stuck again. So while she sat their, went and rode wicked twister and power tower again. She finally got off, and it was definantly going to storm, so we went back to the bus. Everybody had already been waiting for an hour to leave, but they couldn't get ahold of us because I had the cell phone turned off.
It was the best trip I have ever taken. I still can't believe how light the crowed was. It was awesome. We ended up getting 21 great rides. (sorry the post was so long) *** Edited 6/14/2004 8:55:22 PM UTC by Chris07***
I have a hard time believing that, though I have never ridden the back.

You waited an hour and ten minutes for the front seat on TTD when the wait was only 15 minutes? I like a front seat ride on the thing as much as the next person, but that seems a little stupid, but hey, its your vacation.
Go Cubs! White Sox Suck!
thank you.....and enjoy your record breaking ride on Millennium Force!
Go Ravens and Lakers, don't worry, we'll bounce back.
X at SFMM is frickin awesome, it's a must ride for all coaster fans.
Miami Heat: Now Diesel Powered!

I got in line for dragster about a hour before it started to rain and it was having mechanical problems here and there so it was taking awhile and then finally when they were getting consistant they shut down for the upcoming weather. That was the only downside for the day.
The upside was all the great rides I got in and one of the best rides on Gemini I have ever had!
YOu're absolutely right. Backseat MF and front seat TTD
I have to agree with that also. Back on MF....Tons of air time! Front on TTD.....Gotta love the wind in your face!
As far as the back of MF going faster, I don't think that's possible. I am no physics major, but if it were actually faster, by the end of the ride, the back would enter the station before the front. ;)
But it does seem faster. Maybe because you are in the last car and you fly ofer the hill because you don't have to wait for the rest of the train to go over. Just my opinion! :)
Let's go straight to the Merry-Go-Round!
