You will want to bring plenty of sunscreen. You will be in the sun constantly.

Just bring sunblock & use it every day...Especially if you aren't tanned prior to on point. I made sure to get a good 6 week tan in before I go up...Because if not, it's going to be hot, & that sun will get to you, especially considering you'll be on point for x amount of hours/day. Just do it, it's better than peeling forever or getting sun poisoning haha

well i tan its not like im a pasty white person i do tan but i was just wondering if ppl who work rides with roofs normally get bad sunburns thanks for the info

Im going to go with no. You may develop a bit of a tan but probably won't burn. If you typically need sunscreen at the beach, then I would suggest it, but otherwise, I don't think you will have a problem.

I have an extremely light colored complexion (I'm part Irish) and the only time I burnt last year was when I went and laid out on the beach and in soak city in the lazy river on my day off. Other then that, I was completely fine.

I worked on Dragster last year and i got burnt...the sun moves a lot during the day and you rotate positions...there is no guarantee that you will be in shade
