Its kinda neat: If you're sitting across the water over in Marblehead, you can see some of the pyro from the Spec. And yes, you can also see the laser hitting Space Spiral. :)

Not sure of the validity of this, but I was told there was some issue with the lasers reflecting off the surface of Space Spiral.

It has more to do with the prolonged exposure of a laser to people riding rides that tend to stop and remain in the same position for extended periods of time or rotate slowly to allow prolonged exposure.

I've only watched small portions of the Summer Spectacular because I was always too busy getting to more rides, but I like that they have it. CP is a family park and it's nice to have a great way to end the night for people and their kids.

About the whole terrorist thing, if you haven't noticed, terrorists aren't the smartest people in the world. They also have security at the gates that check bags that are brought in, so I wouldn't worry about anything bad happening.

You'll be surprised how smart terrorist are.......

Seriously, aside from the tragedy in loss of life on Sept. 11th, the terrorists' planning and organization was stellar in order for them to pull off such a feat.
