Summer Employment Packet?

Way back in October I signed up to receive Cedar Point's 2001 Summer Employment Packet in the mail. I was expecting to receive it in December, but I haven't yet. Does anybody know when they will be sent out? I was figuring that CP would want to deal with past workers first before sending out the info to the 'newbies', but does anybody have some info for me? Thanks a lot.

You might want to go online and just fill out your application. I believe HR is kind of backed up at getting things out because there are only a few people that work fulltime there....

That is the best way to apply. HR does not sort out requests for apps for past employees and also new employees....... they all get the same treatment from the HR sometimes departments will send special packets out to past employees.....

I would suggest going to the CP website. You can find all of the information you need there. Plus, you can fill out an application right on the internet. That's what I did last year. I was a "newbie" and look where it got me!!

Yeha, I sound like a nerd, but the only reason I wanted the employment packet is to just read it... I'm only 16, and I can't work at CP until I'm in college. So I can't fill out an application; I was just interested in receiving one. :)

Where do you live? You can work at CP if you live in the Sandusky area and if you are at least 14 years of age.

I'm in Florida, so I'm gonna have to wait a few years. :(

what is in these packets?

A couple of booklets, on cedar point requirements for employees IE what color shoes to get for the specific job you have, grooming guidelines, pay rate, that kind of stuff. You also get a couple of applications for you and your freinds to fill out, not sure if they still do it but CP used to give out $25 bonuses if you refer a person and they get hired.
