Stuck on a Coaster?

Well, I was just wondering about if any of you have benn stuck on a coaster. In my opinion it's pretty aggrivating. Iv'e been stuck on Magnum, Kraken, and Iron Dragon. All were minimal waits with the larges 45 min. Have you ever been stuck on a coaster?

No, and I don't want to be, either.

I've been stuck on the lift hill of....Phoenix, Rolling Thunder, Iron Dragon, and a few others. The longest was fifteen minutes on Rolling Thunder. I would like to be as long as it isn't too hot out or too cold.

Last time I was there, I got stuck on the final brake run of Magnum, just in time for a cold, heavy rain, for about 15 min. It was wet, but we still had fun!

I've been stuck on a few other coasters, but not any others from CP of the top of my head. Getting stuck on a ride for bit doesn't bother me, as long as it's not an uncomfortable seat and restraint, and that the ride attendants know what they're doing (I feel especially safe at CP). In fact, a lot times, I find it relieving after a day of walking and standing in line! I'm forced to take a break!

Any similarity in name is purely coincidental.

I've actually been stuck on TTD, as weird as that may sound. I was in the second train when it broke down, so we were stuck waiting with stapled restraints out on the launch track. It took about 15 minutes before they backed us into the station and unloaded. After it was fixed and we launched, we ended up waiting about 10 minutes on the end of the brake run beofre they moved us forward into unload.

I have never really been stuck on a coaster, but wierd as it may sound, it has always been a fantasy of mine to get stuck and then have to walk down the Magnum's lift hill. It think that would be very exhilerating!

Coaster Count: 147

I've been stuck on both Wildcat and Gemini. It is common for people to get stuck on both, so I am definately not the only one.

The only plus is the front-of-the-line passes you get. :)

i actully have been stuck on TTD...last year...we were the last train lauched then it broke down and we were stuck on the end of the brake run for about 15min. Thats the only ride i have ever been stuck on. But i wouldnt mind getting stuck on a ride.
First time, Raptor in the station for 10 min, floor would not raise, so they resent the train arround again. Same thing happened again.
Not a bad experence.

Later in the day, got stuck on Mantis Brake run for 35 min. Defiantly uncomfortable.

X-flight twice in the same day in the front row. I got accused of breaking it by the maintance guys on the second time!
Not to bad, other than the sun.

Dragster front seat on the launch track, for 20 min. Problem was cleared and got launched.

This year Magnum on the lift hill at 180 feet, with a group of other fans, we had a great time talking. In fact the crew member who was sent up to reasure us climbed right past without saying a word. Once the lift started we hit the brake run by the lift and had to be evac'ed from there. Actully as a group we had a great time and got a exit pass.

I have never be stuck on any of my home parks coasters, just the ones in Ohio!

Last year in August when TTD was having so many problems. One train would launch then it would break down. Another would launch then break down. I got on we rolled to the staging area and just before we were going to launch the Christmas tree shut off and it broke down. that was about 20 minutes. Finally we launched and made it over and then we got on the brakerun and we had to sit their for about another 20 minutes

I got to spend about 20 minutes at the top of Mean Strak's hill last summer. That was actually pretty fun, we had a good conversation with the ride op who came up to keep us company. I was kind of bummed though, because right before we got going again the op told us we might be walking down. I would have loved to do a walk down.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I got to walk off the Mean Streak although it was only from the final brake run.

I have been stuck on the following coasters at Cedar Point:

Disaster Transport- in the brake for about 20 minutes due to "technical difficulties."

Mantis- on the lift hill about a little over half way up for about 2 minutes. two operators ran up each side telling every one not to panic.

Top Thrill Dragster- also on the brake run, we had launched gone over, and the next train rolled back. it was in 2003 so we waited like 20 minutes.

thats all i can think of for now.

Blue Streak for about 10 minutes because a boy pushed the lap bar do far down on him it would not come back up. After about 10-15 min some mechanic came and got him out. Atleast he got about 4 rides when the line was not a walk on.

CP is the place to be!

My dad talks about the Blue Streak not even having restraints, which I wish they'd still have it like that.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

I was stuck on the top of the Incredible Hulk's launch hill. We launched but came to a haulting, and somewhat uncomfortable, stop on the very top of the hill. We were in the front car so it was a pretty cool view looking straight away with the Zero-G roll only about 30 yards in front of us. After sitting there for about 15 minutes, a ride host and some maintenance workers came up and unloaded the train and we walked down the tube. That was pretty cool walking down that thing too.

Yeah, I'm sure Blue Streak would be just awesome without restraints. Especially the part when you fly out of your seat and plunge to your death. FASCINATING!

I got stuck on Steel Venom at Geauga Lake twice in the same day. The first time we didn't even try to launch and we waited for five minutes until they finally unloaded us. The second time we tried to launch we got to speed for a split second and then it stopped two feet in front of the station. We were stuck for a half hour almost in the station. Had a good conversation with the ride op about Superman that the guy died on in New England.
I got stuck on Dominator (It was Batman Knight Flight when I got stuck) for about 45 minutes. We overshot the station stop point ans they could not bring the floor up. I was in the from seat hanging outside the station. They finally sent us through again and it stopped in the right position, They gave us free passes to the park for another visit.
I have been held up on many coasters at the point. Most of the time when i get stuck though it is because they have to wait for them to clean up puke in the station. Everytime I go on Iron Dragon I always feel as its going to break down and I every time I bring somone new with me I always try to freak them out and tell them its breaking down at the pause on the lift hill.
I got stuck on the Jackrabbit at Kennywood for 15 minutes besause, of all things, a man in one of those giant mascot suits rode the ride just before us and couldn't get off. This is true. It only adds to my list of bad experiences with mascots/disney characters in huge costumes, which includes getting mugged by chip and dale and disney world...
