Still the fav?

I still prefer MF to TTD, but I have a hard time ranking coasters because each has their own special qualities. It's like asking a mom to say which of her kids she likes best, IMO.

I must say The Legend at Holiday World is very close to being my favorite all time coaster.

I know for sure that wooden roller coasters run faster just after or during rain. The track gets all slicked up and you fly over those bunny hops like nothin at all. Steel coasters however run slower in cool weather, but i'm not sure about rain. I have no idea which is better (TTD vs. MF) as i've never even been to Cedar Point!

I like TTD better! Millenium Force is my second fave. TTD's launch is just insane and is worth it. Millenium Force has a great drop and i like the twists and turns inside the lagoon. TTD just overpowers Millie. I don't know why!

3 TTD rides in 2 hours!

I still love Millenium Force, it is a great all a round ride that takes you through the elements, but it is very close to Top Thrill Dragster, just not as much as the Thrill's that Dragster offers. It just seems so much more powerful, it feels like this ride is at the top of the game, the theming is great, the people involvement is incomparable.

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!

Both rides take my breath away. (1) MF has a great first drop, (2) nice airtime, and (3) non stop speed. While TTD has (1) an awesome launch, (2) increible speed, and (3) breath taking height. So three to three, it's a tie for first.

TTD wins my vote!

I still like MF more than TTD. TTD was my favorite for a couple months, but then I rode MF in the very back seat. Whoa! :)

For the moment I still like MF better.

A few more times on TTD might skew my decision though. Only because MF is a more "traditional" ride.. out and back coaster. Where TTD is a whole new experience, as is Raptor.

To cast my vote now is MF all the way

I don't care if they build a 500-footer... MF will always be my favorite. TTD is quite amazing, though.

MF is better all the way. MF took that feeling of speed to the next level. TTD just took it up a notch. When MF came out, the feeling of speed was in a class of its own. Not to mention TTD is just too short. I would almost classify it as a thrill ride. The word roller coaster just seems to include so much more. Its high and fast, but too short to enjoy either aspect. The launch is insane though! I really wish they could've followed the launch and tophat with some sort of layout though.

I think I like X at SFMM more... but MF is still my favorite CP ride. I like it Moreso than TTD.
ttd cost them 25 million already, if they would've added more it would've cost them a ton of money. but i still think that millennium force has all of the elements i like in a coaster. a big hill, a good view, nice surroundings (after first hill), constant speed, airtime, and those overbanked turns are something to be reckoned with too.

Well as it stands right now I don't really think its 25 million dollars worth of ride. Just comparing the two, MF seems like a better investment of 25 million.

i agree with you rockdown2g. millennium force is a great all around ride, it doesn't really seem like mf and ttd would cost the same, but hey, that's what happens with something so revolutionary.

TTD only costs 25 million because of all the technology involved to make it launch and brake. MF is simpler mechanically, but it is better, much longer, and more thrilling.
