Still the fav?

OK, for all those hardcore MF fans out there, I'm wondering if MF is still first on your list--even after TTD ?
TTD AMAZES me truly, and it's such a close call between the force and it, but MF will *always* be my baby, regradless!

I LOVE TTD but MF is still number one in my book, TTD is a close second.

I love MF it's great TTD is great too but it ends too fast.
MF is, was, and always will be my #1 baby!

Well Raptor is my #1, but between MF and TTD, MF wins in a landslide. TTD is just too short, MF is still the scarest ride in the park.
Nope, TTD passed it over easily, although it is still second on my list. I love Millennium because of the drop. The overbanks do nothing for me but "numb" the thrills from the drop. Dragster is nothing but an "intensified" Millennium drop with a great launch. TTD es el numero uno!
I love MF first too,but I think they have slowed the ride significantly from the first two seasons and it just isn't the same anymore. Could be just me,but i just don't think it is doing 92-93 anymore. It fells only a little faster than Magnum to me anymore, like it's only doing around 80-85.
How do you propose that they managed to slow it down, as there are no brakes anywhere until the end? Anyways, it's a hard call between the two. Despite Dragster's 110 foot advantage, after that insane launch you don't even feel the hill like you feel MF's first drop. What you do feel, though, is that extra 30 mph. Despite all of this, I'd have to go with TTD just because it is more of a straight adrenaline rush, which is what coasters are about, atleast for me.

I liked TTD A LOT, but I dont think its my fav, or take saway the glitz of MF :)
I don't know how or even if they slowed it down. Just when you watch it now,it barely gets over the magnum hill and on the way back looks to barely get over that last hill before the tunnel. It just doesn't look the same to me,of course, after 3 years and seeing Dragster, its probably just me :)
MFJedi - I noticed that it seemed slower coming around into the overbank over the queue when I was there last Wednesday. But as the day went on, it seemed to increase speed on that overbank. You just have to let it warm-up for the season. I will say this though. MF looks real slow at that overbank after you've seen Dragster's launch.
MF always runs slower in the spring then the summer, as it is a coaster that reacts to the weather. When the weather is warmer the coaster "hits it stride" and is faster then when the weather is cooler. Sandor, the president of Intiamn, even said that himself.

first i want to say, wow tony, thats an insane ride count! very nice! I think compareing the two is just not possiable, they are so different, and both are just amazing, go intamin! I love ttd, i've been on it 3 times now, one front, and it is still just as intense. As for millie, I've been on it 6 times now, and i love it, once in the rain, THAT isn't fun, and if I had to pick which one i would rather go on, i couldn't pick!!!! they just rule!
Well having ridden them both in many conditions: night, day, rain, wind, cold. I have to say that it is so very close to pick. But i would say for me TTD is the more thrilling and scary ride, however MF is still my fave. You just cant beat cruising around on MF Island at a good 80 mph at least and flying around the overbanked turns and over the bunnyhop with a slightly loose harness. U just cant beat that cruisin feelin! Then again... If you wanna talk about loose harness and airtime.... Blue Streak is definitely one of the most fun coasters in the park to ride.

Thanks liebevision. I agree with you that you can not compare the two rides and that they are both great rides, but I have to stick with my baby for my favorite coaster. Although TTD is a close second.

That is so true about blue streak ,after that first hill my but never hit the seat till we pulled into the station ,unbelievable ! I also expierenced my first ride on MF in the rain ,WOW ! If I didnt know any better I would have sworn someone was shooting me in the face with bb's ...lol .As far as it being slower ,no way ! the day I was there It was very windy and raining and I've never seen It go up the lift that fast before It was hauling *** maybe it was because of the high winds they were making it go up the lift faster ,I dont know but It was extremely fast that day .I've also heard that when its raining coasters go faster ,is this true ?
