Station Music

Does anyone know who does that music playing under the voice in the station? It is the same music used in the promo video too. Anyone know who or what group does that music or where i can get a hold of it?

You mean that 'computer-like' noise? I don't think it's any group or anything... I'm sure it's just a computerized sound... But I actually do have a wave file of it.

It's been said before that it is just a simple techno beat that was probably made just for the ride. I don't think it's part of any song.

Well I do know that it is done by "someone" because my church has a series of audio tapes that they use for the older adults sunday school class and that music is the intro and the ending of the session. We don't know where we got the tapes from, nor is there any credits given for them so that is why I was asking.

I heard the music one day and I ran over to their class thinking I was going to see some one's trip to CP and them riding MF, but it was actually a lesson.

So I guess my question still stands if anyone knows who does it and where I could get a hold of it in decent quality.

I have a techno version of the song. I wanted to just get the loop but I found an edited version of the song and someone added their own beats to it. I can email you it if you want.

Yeah I have that version. I was hoping to find something more like the original version of the music... like on the promo video.

It must really be hard to find.. wow

The original has nothing to it. It's only the loop with the beat. That'd be boring as hell by itself, and make you want to break something.

I thought it would be neat to edit it into some of my home videos. That way it wouldn't be so boring, but yet pretty neat for what I am thinking of doing with it.

I am trying to find some kind of music editing program so I can cut the plain loop out of Jeff's version and copy & paste it into a huge song of just the loop. I just need to find one of those sound mixer programs.

sonic foundry acid will help you do that.

you have to pay a lot for those programs at sonic foundry. I tried downloading one off kazaa and it didn't install when it was finished downloading and I dont want to pay for one.

I'm willing to bet that your church lifted it from the promo video or something of that nature as the song was written FOR the ride and the original recording of it is locked away nice and tight in my boss's office.

Well those tapes were like 5 years old... I am not sure they would do that (since that would be wrong). And they are a pretty small church. No one there has any interest in cedar point (except myself). I don't know where the tapes originated from, nor do they.

Plus no one there has the capability to do that. It could be that its that similar of a song I guess.

Gee, I don't LIKE to pay for software - But I do. It is the right thing to do. You should consider doing the same. It'd really make it cheaper for me.

In fact, I'm really getting tired of these assholes who feel that it is ok to steal because its in the safety of their own home, and nobody will see them. They feel as if there are no victims. The victims are the software writers and the everyday joe like me who actually *gasp* pays for his software.

If you want a cheap audio editing program get cooledit 2000. It is the scaled down version of Cooledit Pro. Its about 65 bucks in comparison to 10 times that for pro. And it will do everything you want to and more. Or you could just download it from kazaa, but I'm not going to encourage that.

Cool Edit, as far as I remember, offers a free trial as well. Its worth trying out, and paying for if you like it. Since I have no real big audio editing needs, I bought a copy of cool edit. It does what I need it to, and is easy to use.

Since I only wanted to cut and paste one part of one song, I didn't think it was neccessary for me to pay over 100 dollars for some super deluxe editing program so I tried downloading a version off of kazaa that was no longer being produced. I don't consider it stealing if it isn't even manufatured anymore. I am just downloading a copy of the program from someone else. It didn't even work. All I want is a simple program that even a little kid could figure out. I am Not going to pay for some professional audio editing program. Obviously Kazaa's operation is legal or else they would have been shut down like Napster. So bholcomb, don't call me an asshole just because I use kazaa.

That's crap... software isn't developed for free. Programmers need to get paid.

Ask some of the regulars what happens on this site (owned by a programmer) when someone admits to stealing software.
