Starting before the park opens...

Oh yeah... I'm supposed to move in on April 30th. What happens for all those days during the first week or two or three when the park isn't even open? What do we do? And is it true that you can't move into Gold that early?

Gold usually doesn't open till May because there is no heat.

ohhh yeah, I remember the lack of heat. Even in mid-June it was freezing half the time.

Cleanup, great. What are the hours like in that timespan? Are they a lot lower the first two weeks?

depends on your department. Some can pull 40.. others more.. others less.

Nothing like the summer hours..

i think most departments do 8am-5pm Monday - Friday...and the weekends off...that's what a lot of people i know worked sooo...at the hotel i work 8am-4pm Monday - Friday....

I start on April 21st and I think that first week I work in season passes, then the week before the park opens I will help in the training of the new admissions people and clean up the various gates... Their is always something to do before the park opens.
