Came up with this crazy idea when
got the cedar point catalogue we ordered from the website in the mail. STARLIGHT TICKETS, 2 for 1. That means 11.50$ each. What a conscience, commercial comes on and show the awesome coasters
I just about go mad of anxiousness for our next
trip in June. Humming the tune later that night
mom asks if I want to go for 4 hours Sunday.
*VERY EXCITED* so were on our way, past the turnpike at 3:50 something and on the main
road. (The famous one where you glance at all
the coasters and get extreme butterflies.)
I'm happy enough to even be there.
get there and head straight for the force. I missed this baby the most. It’s only been 9 days since my last 3 laps on it. I'm running through the
crowds as if it were 9am in July. My mother by
my side (I'm stopping at times for her to catch
up:) 1/45 min wait. I'm there. Wait and talk to
people around me in line and my mom joins in the convo. I always do that, LOL!
The time seems to go by slow at first because
I get so excited watching the people come in
from their ride and the loud sound as the brakes
come in and do their job. Not thirsty but want a drink for something to do. Not for $2.50 (Save it for Dip n' Dots, those r the best!)
As soon as I know it,
I'm on the home ramp!(I say that sentence really loud)
From about 7 yards away, The beast looks huge.
You can really tell, and the trees aren't in the way. A train later, it goes over the top and makes a weird "ErInnAchglUk" sound, I know it doesn't normally make. loud enough for me to hear it, but no one else noticed really. The riders come in and everything's fine. They get out.
3 minutes later, Annnnd we're not moving. Soon,
we hear the speakerphone, "millennium force is down due to mechanical problems" speech. I GET
SO MAD. But shake it off. My mom and the people behind us go HAH, just the luck. I look around and everyone is disappointed. we were so close man. Should I get out of line? NO! About 15 minutes pass, and by this time, I'm sitting down and picking at my nails along with everyone else.
My mom's not so sure about everything. She kept
asking me if everything was OK. She's rode the force twice before that, and now feels she can ride ANYTHING. But she gets iffy at things. another 5 minutes, which seem like forever. a Whole crowd in the queue leaves (mostly towards the back behind the pop machines)
I mean piles. And it's only been 20 minutes. Come on now. I am a true forcer I would wait for an hour, But I was so built up that day. So anyways a good half hour of waiting. A train goes up. Claps surround me. :):)it's a tester. Now people are coming back into the line. Hmmm, never
understood why they can't wait for this amazing ride through it's troubles. It goes up, I get up and block my face from the sun as I glace at it. it gets stuck at the top. UGH. Memories. I'm start to laugh the laugh of fear but then reilized they probably did that on purpose. It was 6:15. 30 seconds later its going over the hill. they run another one. Same thing. I didn't like that stuckness much.
Then I see people ahead getting on the next train. Woah! I heard the announcement and song and get really hyper. I help my mom up. They want 1 single rider and I did this crazy thing . contin..
