Stainless steel trains?

The first time I rode that monster I was sure that my seat would need to be "hosed off". I really dont care what the cars look like as the open sides are really thrilling and I still think thats the best ride in the park.

The bumpers dont work to well. While transfering off the blue train during Halloweekends, a buddy of mine bumped the front of the yellow. The blue train was barely moving and it caused it to bend the rear bumper on blue.

What if there was a #17 in 2003?

The goal of a bumper is to transfer energy from one mass to another. Yes the bumper did bend, but did it damage the body of the train? probably not.

Most trains aren't designed to touch each other other than in rare cases. In the extremely rare case of trains actually running into each other, the bumpers and the frame design of the cars will attempt to remain intact without crushing into each other. In other words, the trains are designed to keep the riders as safe as possible.

How is any of that new information?

DELETED!

I think his point was that bumpers are supposed to crumple to absorb energy, contrary to 99er's claim that they "dont work to well."

Are you guys serious? The fronts of the trains looks good! If it was just the swoosh it would look too plain. This way with the blue and orange, it looks great and sticks out wonderfully.

If they had the swoosh, as will as "Millennium Force" under it like the real logo, then I think that it would look tight.

...Denial is an ugly thing.

I liked the trains in 2000 they looked so much better.

I just hate the fact that the yellow and red trains have blue noses.

I still think that just a "swoosh" would look cool.

I agree with 99er with the swoosh. It sticks with the whole Millennium theme of it all.

Oh and ThePoint Wicked Twister was lucky enough to make it through the winter without colapsing, and I think others will agree. Seeing how many times they've had to fix it during the season.

Millennium Force has a theme? Whoa, where have I been...

As of the theme of there logo with the swoosh
I like the swoosh idea. Also, whats up with the "green train in Lake Erie"? Is there a story behind that? Just wondering.

What green train are you talking about?
Steel Monsters mentioned it on the previous page.

I guess you dont know what I'm talking about. The front of the train should have the logo and it should say cedar point under the logo. I dont care if the train is fiberglass. MF is thrilling no matter what.

Oh okay. I wondered.
Really having a steel nose cone on MF would make the train go a bit faster down the first hill, but I don;t know how much difference a fiber class one would really make?
