Spring has arrived!

Well today is officially the first day of spring. The trees will soon become green with leaves, and landscapers will begin to install flowers and eye friendly greenery. The weather will gradually become nicer, and the days will continue to grow longer. Grasses will begin to be mowed, and the rain will begin to fall. Heck, baseball season is just over a week away! Spring is here!

Well, we've made it! We're into the last leg of this long winter (but did it really ever arrive?), which for some was the longest ever, and for others has been the shortest.

We have a new ride to look foreward to, and some of our old favorites like Raptor and Magnum as well. The smell of popcorn, the taste of cotton candy, and the roar of the trains as they fly past you in the queues. Its all almost here.

A new view is awaiting for riders on the Giant Wheel and the Space Spiril. No more is there the calm lake to look only at, but a new huge creation awaits. May 5, only 46 days away. Seems to me that it was just yesterday that it was still 100. For me this offseason has flown. But now its time to start getting excited. Wicked Twister is near completion. The cars are being loaded onto the other coasters. Cycling will begin very soon.

I don't know what it is about Spring, but I feel so re-energized. I feel alive again. I can now look outside and smile. I can wake up from bed and actually want to get up. And I can now look ahead to just next month when my coaster season will begin with just a 3 hour drive down I-71 to PKI. What are your feelings? Does spring invigorate you as much as it does me?

I know exactly how you feel. I also am finally emerging from my state of hibernation. Although the weather is cold and rainy, I feel great, like the new year is finally starting!

They're not planting flowers yet, but seasonal landscapers have already started spring cleanup and mulching activities.

I do believe that Spring started today at Noon, it was all over the News.

I feel alive also...I cant wait for the warm weather and wearing shorts and a T shirt again...Go out all night with no coat!!!

I also believe that Spring did start today at 2:16 PM. Not to be precise or anything. . . but I just happenned to catch that on the weather. Rich Apuzzo said that today. I can't wait for Wicked Twister to open! Now there will be two lines of people that are racing to MF or To WT! Sweet.

For me, summer starts as soon as I have that season pass in my hand. No red tag for me this year :) I heard April 25th the pass center opens, is this correct?

My crocuses are in bloom, it's actually LIGHT out when I leave for work at 6:30 am (makes it easier to get out of bed when it's not pitch black out), and I have my CP season pass in hand. Yep...even if the weather isn't cooperating, spring is at hand and I'm feeling antsy...I need a coaster fix.

I must agree that every year around this time I start getting "siked" for Spring, show season and definitely my personal fav CP to open. Last night someone at work asked me 1 simple CP question and I went on and on...suddenly realizing I was rambling and getting very excited I simply apologized and walked away. Luckelly the person understood totally and just thanked me. :)
My own manager said the other night "if Jo doesnt get to ride that Raptor thing soon she is going to go totally crazy and take all of us with her."
