It becomes difficult to spiel everyday when the riders aren't all that into the ride (ie: Corkscrew). The lack of enthusiasm from the guest is usually made up by sarcasm. You'd be surprised how exciting you can a ride that goes 85 foot tall, 48mph, 2,050 foot long, 1 minute 40 second, up-side down 3 times, twice over the midway, thrilling riders since 1976 sound. NOW PULL ON YOUR ORANGE SEATBELT!!! I got a little carried away. When you get the microphone, you usually just start spieling and not even realize what you're saying.

Spieling was a blast, especially when you saw someone from another coaster in your line and you can add things to diss on their ride.

It's only 1 minute and 40 seconds because you sit in the brake run for most of it. ;)

^Surprisingly no. On those nice rainy days of ONE train operation. It took 2 minutes 7 seconds the moment the train started moving to the moment it stop back in the station. We hated one train operation.

The thing I remember about spieling is that we had specific points we had to cover. In between those points, they had suggested things to say, but we mostly resorted to antics, like crying, sarcasm, strained pop-culture references, etc.

I hated spieling.

Haha. Oh. I loves me some spieling. At first, when you get handed the mic. and you havent spieled on that ride before, you are a little nervous. I still work there on weekends, and ive been moved around a little bit the past couple weeks. Spieling is fun. I sometimes interchange the rides though. Haha I was working on Maverick and spieling the other day, and I i said 'Oncoming Riders, Welcome to Millennium Force!' Hahaha
