Speedometer missing

With the results it is giving (hits 120 and then drops to 118 as the train passes) and the single digit launches (not to mention the 5MPH stops) I would have to say that the most likely measuring device would be radar.

Plus, I have seen the device pointing down the track. Its right above the big sign that the speedometer was on.

As you can see, its down almost to magnum IIRC. Just before the train starts to curve up

liebevision: it wasnt there opening day/weekend. they must have installed it the week of 5/5.

i dont like where they have the gun placed, it keeps reading the speed once it leaves the sled and usually posts (and keeps it up there for a 20-30 seconds) the speed that it passes the gun at, and thats normally about 2-3mph slower then top speed.

on a side note i've noticed that thing post a 123mph 1 time.... seen 122mph a couple times. normally its around 118-120. and 115 and slower... expect a roolback... :) i'd pay for a rollback!
