Space spiral removal confirmed!

I was hoping they would set up a big pile driver and just tap it into the ground. They could change the status to SBNO..."subterranean but not operating."

Just say no to trims

Like I said I'm sharing information I have heard I am not making this up. Maybe the whole team is but don't troll me back. I will be sure to keep any further information to myself.

And I didn't know that your not aloud to join and make a post. Maybe these rules should be posted. Oh wait...

I have it on good authority that this is the same person who posted that scathing thread about Walt and Jeff yesterday.

Can't see this happening, only because they will have very large cranes there anyways just to put in the new coaster. At least the top 2 would almost have to be lowered by a crane. Thats alot of ton of steel to drop 250 feet. I work for a sign company and we never drop things on purpose, not even at 50 feet into a work area. Hypothetically if someone were to be up in a manbasket 200 feet up in the air to cut this apart w/ a torch, when they got to the last part near DT it would fall on their basket taking out their crane. If you know more about their plan let us know. Just don't see the logistics involved in this plan working when it can be lifted to the ground. How high would that top section bounce of concrete, and in which direction?

well they do bring down smoke stacks like a tree all the time. you can direct it just like you do with a tree. by imploding a chunk out on the side you want it to fall. they do have it pretty much down pat. I have never seen them bring one down in more than one piece though. I also do not thing CP would go for this as it has to much $$$$ in the area, even though it is pretty easy for the companies that do this regularly

I can see it being done, as it is something done regularly, and it would be a good way for CP to advertise the construction and new ride. My only thing that makes me thing this was an option put on the table and not a sure thing, is the location. also if they do bring it down this way (I think) part would go in the lake. If you cut it into pieces it comes with a new problem. the piece you cut at the top does not have the directional control you get if you cut it at the bottom.
