Space For Coasters

if im not mistaken,i think that's where some "higher ups"from cedar point live.so I doint think there would be too much resistance to building a good woody on the beach.but on the other hand,woodies do make a lot of noise.

A steel-structured out-and-back woodie by CCI appears to only need about 40 feet in width, using Villain as a guide. The turn-arounds are a little wider.

Well the last house on the Chaussee extension is the big brick one that belongs to Dick Kinzel. He's the only "CP higher up" that lives there--I know two of families that live there on the 2200 block. Whether or not he wants the turnaround of a coaster next door would be totally up to him! :)
Theoretically, a huge coaster could be built that crosses the parking lot. It could have its turnaround at the old Baxter property which CP bought last year.

That belongs to Dick!! I alwawys wanted to know who lived there.

I always thought it would be neat to have a house right there. If I win the lotto, I may be able to afford a small plot of land next Dicks house and build a nice shack. It would be a dream house, and I sure would not complain about the noise.

Cedar Point has always amazed me at how they are able to plan a new attraction into the existing land. Of course CP does not have a space problem. Last year I thought, "Where the heck are they going to put a 300' rollercoaster ? " and boom there it was. This discussion should be about the "creative ideas" that Cedar Point may choose in the future. Cedar Point will never have a space problem because they are just too darn smart.

Of course that section along the lagoon from Millennium Force to Snake River Falls (Location #2) is the new boneyard...

Actually, Cedar Point made plenty of space for Coasters when they tore down the Paddlewheel Cafe... :)

My back yard is available if CP wants to put a coaster in there. Of course, there is the problem that I live in Michigan. Oh well, one can dream.

How about over the center of Frontier Town were the Antique Cars are. They did something like this with Raptor, and they can do it here as well.

By the way, is it safe to say that CP is out of space for any type of new coaster the size and structural mass of Mean Streak?

Except maybe in location 2, I think they would have to move somthing like you mentioned.

If you take the cars out it leaves even more room by WWL so that could be a thought.

Let me put it this way: Indiana Beach has 4 coasters on a spot of area no larger than a stamp.

Cedar Point is large enough for its own area code. They can find room. Over, under, or through, but they cna find room.

Oh, trust me, there is more empty land then you could ever imagine. #2 and #7 definately, #4 in the semi-near future :-)
