If conditions require that speed, then perhaps the ride was gearing up to that speed. If the computer doesn't like the time it takes for the ride to crest and return, it launches faster. Maybe it was windy or cold.

The fastest I've seen Dragster go was 127 mph, and it was kind of windy, so maybe they did that whole speed to wind resistance ratio thing.

In the rollback I had, it went 126 mph. I don't think 3 mph could have made a difference.
