Some really good news...

Now I guess the question is: Is the ride different with 5 cars compared to 4 cars?

------------------
The best thing about Six Flags "Worlds of Adventure" is that Cedar Point is nearby!

Well, someone said in another topic that the speedometer clocked them at 127 MPH, so the ride is definitely capable of launching 5-car trains just as well as it did with 4 cars. As for if it affected airtime in the back seat, that I couldn't tell you - my next trip to CP is a couple of weeks off...

I noticed from my seat in the third row (in the car that was missing last week) that the airtime seemed a lot more intense at the top even though we were going over slower than my ride last week. I personally saw the speedometer hit anywhere from 117 to 122.

I was there yesterday and never saw it go over 121. Not trying to start anything just reporting what i saw. And tower and tree light themes should be up soon, hopefully with in a few weeks.

Woah, i didnt notice it until now, MF has been stuck on the lift for the past 45+ minutes. Whats up with that.

Anyway, I really like the idea of the speedometer.

I can't believe TTD reached 127 mph. Where do you see the speedometer? Can you see the speedometer from the grandstands or do you find out your speed in the winners circle?

Does anyone know if CP is planning on sticking with the 5 train operation for a long period of time, or is this just temporary until they get the 6th train up amd running. I was thinking about this because having an odd number of trains would mess up the whole system they had worked out earlier with 2 trains in unload, 2 in load, and 2 going around the circuit. So for anyone who's been there with the 5 train operation how is it working right now?

I just want to make it clear. Are there 5 cars on all 5 trains?

CP Coaster Guide

When the sixth train returns from Intamin AG's HQ it will have all five cars on the train. the reason for 4 car operation is they wanted to dreak in the motor a little before they put it thru full train testing and riding. just like a dar, you don't want to rag on the motor too early, or you will wreck it! hopefully it will be back before memorial day, hopefully.

I won't believe anything I hear unless it travels through four or five people before I hear it...

On a side note: Anybody remember back in elementry school when you'd play the game where one person would say something to somebody and then the second would tell it to a third, then to a fourth... And so on until it went through the whole room? It was great hearing what the last person said and comparing it to what the first said. (Sorry, what I thought of when I heard that...)

Yes! Except once you got older people just tried to make it as dirty as possible... :)

Actually i was just walking around the park with my friend when he(my Friend) spotted his friend that is a manager at Cedar Point. i was standing right there when he said it so it is straight from his mouth to my fingers thru my keyboard into my PC out my Phone line onto the GTTP servers then to your PC at home....is that travel enough? ;)
