Some really good news...

Tonight was the Employee Wicked Twister Welcome Party. Joe E. and I met up and rode Wicked Twister once and we were bored and decided to go back to look at Dragster.

Anyway, when we got back there they were testing it and noticed first that all five trains were on the track running! Also, we noticed all five trains had all five cars! They were launching trains for a while and we sat there in the grandstands in amazement. This week they also added a speedometer on the big sign on the hydraulic room. Some of the launches reached 122 mph!

As far as the tower countdown lights, two of them are installed on one of the catwalks. The rest are lying under the tower. The tree next to the launch was fully up bu not operating at the time. They also added a few minor themeing elements around the plaza.

That is indeed good news! I am going up on Tuesday with my friend who is very excited to ride it. I'm glad to hear that they will be running more trains with more cars so soon...faster moving line!

Yay, sounds like theyll have everything ready by at least Memorial Day Weekend, im so excited...

Hopefully with all the trains up to par, the crews can now learn how the heck to handle all those trains :) (and hopefully figure it out by Tuesday ;) )

Besides the great rides and being the best of everything, the best part about Cedar Point is that it isn't Six Flags! YAY!

i will be there tonight after school so i will report my findings on saturday.i hope they really do have a speedometer-because thats really sweet, and all 5 trains and cars... i might be able to get 4 to 5 rides on it tonight------------------

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there supposed to be six trains? Anyway, this is good news. This just permits shorter lines and more fun. Can't wait.

6th train will be back soon, I'm thinking some time around memorial day. Its on vacation ;)

I love the speedometer thing. I always thought it would be cool to do that. I'm hoping to go next Thursday. I'll have to ride the back seat again to see if it has more air with the extra car on.
