Solar Eclipse Event

I hope to black out when the sky blacks out. I’m trying to time it up perfectly, hopefully coinciding with topping the pinnacle of the Giant Wheel.

Mr. P O W will have no problem being paired up with another rider. On the back of that sharp Men's Warehouse suit is written "single rider Plague on Wheels, I'll supply the brewski's". (just kidding)

Ah, be careful when exiting the Wheel after the conclusion of the eclipse. Just as Y2K was to cause chaos & apocalyptic events, so they warn that the eclipse will as well. Here's the expected scene.

Though I have one thing I'm curious about regarding the event. I just have the TE admission, so I'm not getting the meal voucher. I'm wondering if I can a. Upgrade by paying a few more dollars, or b. Just go to the event and buy a meal. And I'm also wondering about the rides, too. Knowing how Ohio weather is and how it's been recenty.

If you build it, people will come. No matter how expensive people will pay. sold out already... You can charge $400 per person for regular park admission and people will pay. They can charge $40 for that dumb VIP fireworks spot and still it sold out.

^If that were true, the park admission would be $400. Otherwise they would be the worst-run business in America, with those missed margins.

To be fair, the $99 Gold Pass is likely doing nothing for them but missing some of those same margins.

My guess is attendees will be blocked from entering any other midway than Kiddie Kingdom and Boardwalk.

Forecast is looking better for tomorrow, this is probably a last in a lifetime thing for me so it's going to be fun and special no matter what!!!! Who else will be there?

Fingers crossed as well! My daughter is torn between being more excited for the eclipse or being back at Cedar Point. She loves astronomy and roller coasters but since we have already been to Knotts Berry Farm, Carowinds and Kings Dominion this year I think roller coasters are winning lol

Think they'll move the webcams to let us cheapskates ride vicariously?
