Interesting, I never knew about the little flyers; I remember getting one years ago but none in quite a while. Then again, I didn't know it was neccessary to tell them where I was intending to park, I just paid and went.
I don't think they're required -- I didn't see anyone else with them -- I think I just got one since I specifically requested to park there. In the future I probably won't say anything and will just go back there, but since it was my first time and I was unsure directionally, I asked. :)
Have fun tomorrow, MFS08!

^^ You can buy any ticket you need to get (except season passes) at any of the entrance gates. So your friend will be just fine getting the military discount at the resort gate.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
^^ The flyer's are just so the traffic people will know where you are going. That way as they see you coming they can flag you in to where you want to be without having to ask you.
They are usually only given to people at the resorts or people who ask to park somewhere but don't know where it is.

The best entrance is definitely the marina entrance, I was there last tuesday and there were about 10 people there to enter the park at 9:00 for resort guests and joe cool members...definitely go to the marina entrance if you are going to ride millennium force early, and you won't have to wait to get in...so it will make for a quicker time to get to maverick

You don't need anything on your windshield, nor do you need to go to a 'special' toll both. Simply use your turn signal to show the parking attendant you're headed to the back, and he'll wave you by.

^ - it is however EASIER to use the left-most toll booth when entering the lot.
You don't NEED to, but it will make your life, the life of the attendant, and the lives of the other drivers much easier if you do use that booth.

People can't use their blinkers? I always use a shorter lined tollbooth and put my left blinker on. Me and the traffic attendant both know where I am going.
Yes you can use a blinker, but if there are lots of Detroit drivers in line it won't do you any good. They'll think your brake light has broken.

Lies! ;)
Actually, yesterday I used the booth second from the left, and it didn't seem to be an issue (granted, it wasn't a Saturday in July). The key things are making sure you don't cut anyone off, and that you turn your signal on as soon as you leave the booth, so the attendant has plenty of time to notice.
