Hey everyone! I'm a big coaster enthusiast and I was wondering how much of an advantage it is to use the Soak City entrance?? And also is it very hard to access?? Thanks!
1. When off the Causeway, merge left into the "BIG BOOTH ENTRANCE". Say you are visiting Soak City and they might give you a card that says "Resorts & Soak City".
2. Stick on Perimeter Rd. until you see all the parking spaces.
3. Walk through the small tunnel under Magnum and:
-Stay ahead if visiting Soak City
-Make a right until seeing "Resort Entrance" if visiting Cedar Point.
It is an advantage if you really want to ride Maverick at the end of the night, Top Thrill Dragster, Frontier Town, & Magnum. Otherwise, Parking at the Main Entrance, and walking to the Marina Entrance early is a great way to get down to Millennium first.
Pepsi Refresh is saving one coaster at a time: http://pep.si/bTTsfc
It helps if you want to ride Magnum or Dragster first. It is also cool to drive home after the park closes and look at all the rides lit up from Perimeter road.
Let's Get Weird.
I use it because you will very likely be able to park closer to the gate than you would in the main lot. This is great for going out to the car to get food, drinks, etc. without wasting a lot of time. If your goal is not to purchase any food in the park, this location helps tremendously.
Also, if you're buying tickets at the gate, the line at this entrance is likely to be shorter than it is at the main gate. If you're getting the the park early, it helps put you in the back of the park before the meandering crowds will get there. Plus, I like how you are dumped into the middle of the park; it makes it easier to hit some of the big stuff at the end of the day without facing the long trek down the front midway.
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.
