Wow what a day, the time was 9:58pm on Monday June 11 and I was sitting on a bench outside the gemini entrance with a group of people who had made a major accomplishment, they had complete 99 laps on Gemini and in a few minutes we were about to complete our 100th laps together all in the same train, one big happy family! The group of 30 or so that stood out there 12 hours before was down to about a dozen "survivors"
All in all it was an awesome day personally for me I had such great time riding with everyone and just having the time of my life. I was even caught blowing kises to magnum and staring at it while we were riding Gemini.
Personally for me the best part of the day was after I had my 99th lap on Gemini I made a run towards Magnum and I made Magnum my 100th lap of the day, I sat in my seat (13 left hand side) and it felt so great riding the ride after watching it all day long!
I was going to write a full TR about the day but I figured I will just throw some random thoughts here on what hasn't been mentioned yet.
* First off thank you very much to the Gemini crew for putting up with us and keeping all six trains running and the entire ride running during the several guest illnesses. The crew did a great job (and I think everyone working the ride that day deserves cornerstone pins for putting up with us)
* Today rob and I rode about 7 or 8 times more and we both agreed that as the day went on the crew got really personable with us and we could all tell that they had as much fun as we did!
* Take your own advice, on my site I posted about not wearing sandles and to wear comfortable shoes, well I wore sandles and have to big blisters on my right foot.
* It was interesting to hear all of the remarks from the GP.
* I still can't beleive that we did it.
* It was interesting to see how some people prepared themselves for the event and what they brought to eat and drink.

Hey, aren't you,...MagnumDan!!! ;)
Anyways, Dan, congrats! Lauren, the girl with me, was getting a kick out of watching you get off, run around, and get back on. She kept saying you looked delirious and completely out of it. She thinks we're all nuts for even wanting to do that, not just doing it!
