Ummmmm, Maxairtime, you keep bring up the fact that I am down to less than a pack a day... yep I am, but tell me WHERE in any of my posts did I say I smoke in every line, everytime?? I dont, I usually only smoke once in a line per day if that, usually the longest line I am in I have! I have never said I smoke in every line! And as I stated before, YES, this is breaking the rules, whos denying that?? NOT ME! Im just saying its my opinion on smoking in lines, and yes I have done it a few times. Now as I stated before, smokers and non smokers can go on about this forever, its not my purpose here to cause anyone to argue, or fight with any of you people, I just stated a fact that I do, and everyone rips into smokers. I have a right to defend what I think, it should be, but its not that way and I have accepted that, doesnt mean I always went along with it everytime, but the majoirty of the time I have. Everyone has some habit that annoys some people. So I guess what I am trying to say lets just agree to disagree, we know the rules, we know whos breaking them at times, and we have stated our opinion. If its a legal substance, which it is, outside smoking shouldnt be a problem thats MY OPINION. It was before I ever did smoke. So lets all kiss and make up, Im not mad at anyone, just felt I had the right to post my opinion as you all did and I respect that. Just understand a smokers view, This is a legal product that was advertised to everyone, so we smoke then the illegalize it from inside buildings, fine, i agree, now we are being told not to smoke outside. I understand how second had smoke is bad, thats why I dont smoke in my own house. But outside is another story. With that said......see you in the MF line!

So...
In a nutshell, if I don't agree with a rule or law, but I go along with it "the majority of the time", then the times I break it don't count?
Darla, you're taking all of this way too personally. This shouldn't be a debate on smoker's rights. It's a simple case of whether or not you obey the rules. By your own admission, you don't. You don't seem to have a problem with that because you obey them the majority of the time.
Unfortunately in today's society, too many people have the attitude that this rule or that law "doesn't apply to me".
The next time you get a speeding ticket, try telling the officer that you obey the speed limit the majority of the time. Now tell me why this is different.
You drive on the highway, you agree to abide by those laws. You go to Cedar Point (or any other venue, for that matter) you agree to abide by their rules.

Never said that the rules dont apply to me did I? Im sure there are some who feel that way, I just broke a rule! What Duane your telling me you have never went over the speed limit in your life? You never broke that rule, or any rule at all?? Even though we are comparing apples to oranges, everyone breaks a rule one time or another, I just am able to admit it. Now is everyone done calling me out? :) I think I said my peace and what the rules are and that I have broke them. :) Once again, Hi my name is Darla and I am a smoker, and I am a rule breaker! :)
If I add sinner, will this no win situation for everyone be over, lol
* got caught smoking in line once, the few times I have, was asked to put it out, I did!

I really dont care if people smoke in line. If they need to smoke they need to smoke. Your uncomforatable for 2 minutes. I'm uncomforatable standing behind the fat lady in the tank top with her rolls sticking out but I dont say anything. Even though its not illegal to be fat and wear tank tops I think it should be.

"Who needs drugs when you have Cedar Point."
EXCAGL I'm a sweep and if people pick up their cigarette butts and throw them away it's only becuase they saw me working my butt off to sweep up all of the butts already on the ground and felt guilty hehe. I always thanked them too. I've even had people throw their butts into my dustpan hehe.
As for smoking in line I do and will continue to first politely, then if they don't listen somewhat aggressively tell people to put their cigarettes out if I see them doing it when I'm off duty. When I'm working people tend to listen to me the first time so that's no problem being polite about it. :) :)
I have asthma and I don't want to have an attack just because some people are weak and have to feed an addiction while standing in a 1/2 hour or hour long line. Get some frickin gum or something. Oh, and don't put it on the wall or the trees. ;) :)

We should ban ALL public smoking, you know, like in restaurants, bars, hotels, offices, grocery stores, etc. People should only be allowed to smoke in their cars or homes only. Smoking is dangerous to everyone's health and the littered mess is an ugly eyesore. SMOKING IS A PRIVELEGE, NOT A RIGHT. I know that not all smokers are inconsiderate, but it's kind of like a truck driver out of control. You never seem to notice the other 99, only the one causing the problem. I would rather people smoke marijuana (don't do it or care for it myself) because the smoke is not as iritating to me and they (the smokers) seem to smoke the whole thing up and not leave any butts or trash behind. Besides smoking makes me cough, gag, and wheeze. I, like many others am somewhat allergic to the toxic plumes of contamination that eminate from the ends of pipes, cigars, and cigarettes. I personally like the smokers, but not the smoke. Let's see, maybe they could come up with a smokeless cigarette ;)

Jeff, whens the last time you have been to SFKK, SFGAm, SFGA, Or PKI? They all allow smoking in open areas of the lines. Heres one you should remember..You were at PKI this weekend right? Okay, in the outerlimits line, right where the queue enters the building, theres signs that say "No smoking beyond this point"! Why would it say that, if smoking isnt allowed before that point in the line? The other parks have simillar rules. Cp is the only park that I have been too, that has security guards looking for smokers in line.
Maxairtime, now according to your statement "99.9%" of people obey the new smoking rule, so if this is the case, then why are you and others complaining about smokers in queue lines?
My last post was my OPINION of why the smoking rule does not work. Dont ASSume that I smoke in line when I have never said in my post that I have! I dont like the new smoking rule, and thats my opinion, and if you dont like it tough!
I gave my opinion of the smoking rule, I did not try to personally attack anybody, like some of you have. But if you want to go that route, thats cool, I can do that. We got people like DBCaHill talking how he would like to have a confrontation with someone smoking in line. Heres a guy thats been on this site for as long as I can remember, and still is too scared to post his picture, but your going to come up to me in line, and front me? Yeah right! I have posted my picture on here, you all know who I am, I am not running from anybody. Im not going to argue back and forth with you guys about my opinion. Ill be there opening day, in MF line with my Earnhardt shirt on, so I shall be easy to find. You want to front me, front away. And that goes for you too, YZ10 , another one who talks with no picture. See ya opening day!

Everybody has an opinion and I guess I do to. No hard feelings though. I wouldn't mind riding with some ot the "smokers" if there was some way that I didn't have to smell the smoke:)
Woah, I don't think it is necessary to make threats at people because of conflicting views on smoking at CP!
And maybe not having pictures on here has more to do with the fact that they have no way to get their picture on their computer than it does with the fact that they are scared to show people their pictures.
Everyone just calm down.

I never threatened anyone, CBCahill stated " Im kinda wishing youd start somthing with me personally" ( he, a non smoker was reffering to us smokers, so I took that personlly as a threat against smokers) And YZ10 called me out by name saying "BElIEVE me I will ask you to stop" I was just stating where I would be if they felt the need! And by the way I would think a former monitor of this website would have access to a scanner.

So how old are we here? This has degenerated into a third grade playground fight or the classic....well I can't say it on here, but it's something I never thought I would see on this board.
I have an idea, let's threaten each other, yeah, that's really COOL.
And Toofast, if somebody doesn't want to post a picture of him or herself on the Internet it's that person's right.
